After learning the basics forms from Cain, Sam would busy himself with practice whenever he got a chance. With a stick that is lying on the ground, the broom he uses to seep the garden, anything.
Cain had been in the village for two weeks now and his work here was nearly done. Seeing Sam do the moves while brooming, Cain couldn't help but smile remembering his childhood. He was just like Sam, practicing at every opportunity he got.
"Isn't he just skipping work", seeing Sam training with broom while dusting Marie commented.
"You shouldn't say that Marie. Sam is a good kid and he usually completes his task. Let him do whatever he wants", Claudia replied.
Clearing the sweat from his forehead Sam completed cleaning the garden and sat under the shade of a tree. [Working hard Sam], Sei was also noticing Sam's enthusiasm.
'I couldn't help it. If I slack now my body is going to get out of shape', replied Sam.
'If I can't use magic, I can at least learn sword fighting and create my own dangerous moves hohoho', laughing hysterically Sam stated.
Marie who was watching Sam got serious chills and decided to focus on her work rather tha on this madman.
That night when Sam was serving Cain food, Cain saw blisters in Sam's hand and thought something. "You are working hard huh Sam".
"Yes, if I don't I will forget these soon", Sam replied to Cain's question.
"Okay, after dinner meet me in the garden", Cain told Sam and continued eating his food.
After dinner they both gathered in the garden and Cain threw a stick to Sam and himself took one.
"Sam, let's place a bet. I will take you as my disciple if you are able to land a strike on me".
Hearing this Sam's eyes went full stars and he got super excited. 'Disciple? Which means I will get to learn some serious destructive skills and even get out of this place'.
"Okay", nodding Sam and Cain both took their stances and with a shout Sam ran towards Cain.
"Aren't you a little too excited for this", Cain blocked Sam's attack and said, "I can see that your form is quite good".
Sam would strike but Cain would easily dodge and would strike the opening Sam showed. In a way he was teaching Sam even now. Slowly and slowly Sam got accustomed to Cain's action and used a strategic strike to land a hit.

Claudia was very happy and hugged Sam when she got to know that Sam has been accepted as a disciple. "You will do good kid", she encouraged him and patted on his head.
Marie on the other hand had mixed emotion on her face. Even though she was cold to Sam, deep inside she enjoyed his company. Now hearing that he will soon leave Marie became sad.
Seeing Marie sad, Claudia couldn't help but laugh. Pushing her forwards, "Don't you have something to say too, Marie".
"Isn't it good that your dreams are coming true. You shouldn't forget our help and come visit whenever you have a chance", said Marie in slow voice.
"Hmm", Sam could only nod.
After staying one more week at the village, Sam said goodbye to everyone and started his journey.
"Tell me master where are we going", Sam ran after Cain.
"We are going to Sett. It is where I work and live".
