It was on one of those benches Gia directed me to.
"Stay here," Gia commanded simply, a threatening undertone included, making me frown. "Or this time around, you will actually be exempted from the world and not just lost In a maze like I made it seem." with that she proceeded to abandon me, disappearing up the stairs.
Of course, she used voodoo on me, I lamented to myself. How else would the guards have suddenly disappeared and I kept walking in circles? I wasn't that stupid to just embark on a mission without noting the yards and passageways.
It was absolutely infuriating.
