John's POV:
Well, on to the important stuff, now that you are all powered up and adjusted to your new abilities and senses. There's a plan in my head that we need to implement over the next six months or so, at least the first phase of course," I said, getting their attention once again.
"What is it John?" asked Emily.
Gabriel continued, "Yes Boss, I can't see you asking for our help with the problems themselves, not that you're condescending to us, but..."
Vanessa picked up from his pause and continued, "You always have a tendency to do the heavy lifting yourself."
Before Victor could add his two cents, however, Lydia interrupted the joint rant, "Whatever it is, we will do our best to support you in it. Now please go on and let us know what your plan is and how we can help."
Thankful for Lydia's intervention and ignoring the annoyed look on Victor's face, I continued: "I plan to create an organisation that will bring order to the world, so to speak, or at least make it a little more peaceful, ignoring the demons and angels that go about their merry way for war, and eventually even making it bearable to avoid human casualties."
Not to put a damper on your plans, but what about two of your newest friends and future apocalypse magnets and their family?" said Vanessa, always the most informed of the group. According to the spirits and the rest of the details that I am able to understand, their path would cause them to improve their character and make them better people. But at the same time, the fact that they often plunge headlong into problems like no one's business is going to cause us quite a few problems. Even if their intentions are good, at the end of the day they are the cause of a lot of collateral damage.
Hearing this, I let out a sigh. "Yes, you're right," I admitted. "Their path is indeed necessary, but it's also undeniable that they wreak havoc as if it were second nature to them. My plan, however, is to minimise the damage they inflict on the American people, especially in their immediate environment. Let's consider this scenario: if we were to open the Gates of Hell, it would undoubtedly have global repercussions, but their primary focus would be on specific cities within our country. What we can do is strive to keep the original path as close as possible to its current trajectory, while still making enough changes to ensure that both significant and insignificant individuals are spared from getting unnecessarily harmed or killed.
When the team heard this, they went into silent contemplation, and we could hear Victor sulk: "Why am I the only one who doesn't get a say? It's not like I was going to be against anything per se."
This caused everyone to start giggling, and then in turn it turned into a full blown laugh.
Victor cleared his throat and said, trying to regain his composure, "By the way, I see we have a few hunters and other people who work with the supernatural side as well. Do we plan to recruit them into this organisation? Also, what would you do about those prim and proper holy men of letters, especially the British chapter of them?"
I nodded and replied, letting him change the subject and regain some of his lost dignity. "Yes, we are going to filter out the hunters and recruit those who would be conducive to our agenda of this organisation, i.e. peaceful coexistence instead of direct extermination of the supernatural world. The rest, well, either slowly wean them off the hunt altogether or indoctrinate them if they can be helped.
Lydia asked, "By the way, what would be our role in this organisation?"
"You're going to be the ones who keep this organisation running and up and running, making sure that our people are trained to anticipate and deal with any problems that come their way, and making sure that the teams are well rounded and that people trust each other and complement each other's weaknesses and don't burden each other," I replied.
Lydia asked, "So we are basically going to be babysitters for the organisation?"
"Well yes and no," I said, "You will manage their tasks but eventually we will add some talents to do the same, you would all however be a mix of last line before the shit hits the fan as well as taking care of any emergencies the team may encounter, which to be honest with you skills will not be an issue, give them the baby level missions for now while we clear the big ones, Once they're properly established in the organisation and have enough powers etc, we'll move them into more senior positions accordingly, and eventually we'll only be limited to direct world or universe ending threats, by the way, on a completely unrelated note, anyone interested in becoming a lord of the afterlife? "
*Deadpan*X5
Victor sighed, "You and your crazy ideas, I don't think any of us are interested in that right now, but let's move on to other things."
"Yes! Let's name the organisation first and give us a basic structure for it while we're at it." Lydia said, although for some reason she sounded a little too excited.
And then chaos began...
"How about Cosmic Wardens?" Emily asked.
"Nope, sounds like we're some kind of police force."
"What about HexaDefenders?"
"Nope."
"Hexanatural Guardians"
"too childish"
"Celestial Guardians"
"Nah, what are we, software?"
...a few moments (A/N: more like hours) later...
Tired of this back and forth, I said "Vanessa, please suggest a name yourself, otherwise I might have to call it TBA".
"Nooooo!" Vanessa shuddered, then regained her composure and continued, "I 'suggest' Mystic Guardians.
We all agreed that it was better to leave that name alone.
"Now to the more important detail, the exact structure of the organisation..." I was about to say, but was interrupted by Vanessa, who had just displayed a detailed document on the holoscreen between us for all to see.
It read:

After reading the document, everyone looked at Vanessa and thought 'so you just wasted our time when you already had the name confirmed in your mind'.
