John POV,
Seeing everyone staring blankly at Vanessa, who is still unapologetic, I decide to move on to more important matters, like who to invite and what to do about which entities, etc., before another all-out prank war starts again... sigh
"Alright, I think we can all agree that Vanessa's document is pretty good and covers everything. What do you think about the theme?" I asked.
"I like it." Emily said, nodding her head in agreement.
"Me too," Lydia agreed, "it sums up our mission perfectly."
"But before we move on to who we should call first, I have a question. How are we going to deal with different entities? We can't just go around blasting everyone blatantly else that will lead to us getting locked up in a psychiatric ward or Jail?" Gabriel asked.
Vanessa nodded in agreement, "That's true. We need to find a way to communicate with them without doing any harm."
"Well, if they are hostile then we have no choice but to defend ourselves. But if they are peaceful, then we should try to establish diplomatic relations." Lydia suggested.
"We could make a list of entities we have encountered until now and also make it such that it'll update itself based on every mission debrief so that everyone can be prepared for most scenarios." Emily added.
"Good idea, Emily. Let's make a list of the entities based on all our experiences and knowledge." I said.
"Vanessa please start with the list as you have the details of everything we have ever faced, these will be in either red or green zone", I continued turning towards Vanessa (A/N: such a lazy-ass I tell you).
Vanessa nods and starts typing on her laptop. After a few minutes, she hands me a sheet of paper with a long list of entities.
"Wow, that's a lot," I say, looking at the list in surprise.
"Yes, Do you really think we got this powerful and adept just sitting around? Stop downplaying our group as well as your achievements man" Vanessa replies.
"I agree,", Emily supplies on the side with others nodding their heads.
Embarrassed, I slyly change the subject and say, "Now we also need another classification for the entities in the yellow zone, to say that they can be reasoned with, but will still mostly end up attacking us/being killed by us.
Vanessa nods and starts typing again. After a few minutes she hands me another sheet of paper with a shorter list of entities.
"That's much better," I say, "now let's move on to the next step.
I then turn to the team and ask who they think we should contact first.
Emily suggests, "I think it would be better if we started with the government, as they may have resources or contacts that could prove useful." "Yes, that sounds reasonable," Lydia agrees.
Victor then counters, "I think it would be better to first contact the Hunters and other such organisations around the world who are already in contact and working with us.
After a bit of discussion I say, "We can do something, Emily, you start working on a draft proposal to send to the government with Lydia's help, on the other hand, Victor and Vanessa, you both work on making a list of hunters who you think would like to start with us and who will stay with our motto and agree with it, Also make two other lists, one with names of people we can eventually convince to join us and the other with names of those who will not change no matter what, Gabriel you on the other hand will come with me, we have a short fused paranoid grumpy but useful guy to meet and sell our plans to. ", my face turning into a Cheshire cat grin by the end.
Gabriel: "Hey, wait a minute, you use all those three adjectives with only one person and we could even 'sell' our plans to him easily if we normally asked him, but with the smile you are giving me now it seems that will not be the case for this visit... "
Hearing this, it suddenly dawns on the others who this person is.
Vanessa suddenly speaks up, "Hey, I'll come with you if you go to see him.
"Me too!" x3
I sigh and say, "So what about the proposals etc?"
"I think I'll say for everyone, we'd want Bobby's input on that. We also need to see the 'unique' way you would use this time to greet him," Emily says as the others nod their heads, now mirroring my grin on their faces, which threatens to split our faces in half.
