"This is SO good, Vee."
Vivian chuckled as she watched how Keturah emptied the bowl and even tried licking it.
"If you want more, I…"
"Oh yes I do need more, Vee." Keturah quickly agreed and stretched forth her hand with the empty ceramic bowl in Vivian's direction.
Keturah's accent was melodious to the ears and most times, Vivian didn't mind sitting down to listen to her go on and on about things.
She had an amazing British accent, coupled with her gentle voice.
As Vivian went to dish more of the vegetable meat salad, she began to question her.
"Were you born and bred in England, Keturah?"
"Yes, Vee." Keturah answered while watching the woman's every move. She got so used to shortening Vivian's name as 'Vee' and Vivian didn't mind it.
"Are your parents there right now?" She returned back to the kitchen table and passed the ceramic bowl back to Keturah whose eyes lit with delight.
