Leonardo parked the car in front of a futuristic three-story building, brightened with orange lights. It had semi-transparent glass walls, revealing rows of chairs and tables where visitors were enjoying their meals and drinks.
"Come on," his voice diverted my attention, and I caught sight of his sweet smile. "Don't be angry anymore, please," he continued.
"I can't be angry here," I whispered.
"And hopefully, when we return from here, you won't be angry anymore either," he replied, then leaned in and kissed my cheek. "I love you..."
I remained silent, reluctant to respond until he got out and opened the door for me. I stepped out, and he immediately took my hand, guiding me into the building.
