Holden's Pov
The moment Mystic's eyes were completely shut, I felt my killing intent rising to its peak.
"Jax." I said, with a dark voice. "Watch her." I said calmly, gently placing her on the ground.
Her breathing was steady, but it was also weak.
Jax just nods, his eyes clouded with fear. I could tell he wanted to say something more but held himself back when he saw the anger and fury in my eyes.
He began to float around her, while I slowly began to get to my feet.
A hand holding my sword and the other, holding unto Mystic's.
"It's about time I showed all these beasts, what I was capable of." I say, eyes dark as I walk through my shield, leaving it in place to protect them both.
I take a defensive position as they draw in closer.
"Here, we go..." I say with a small smirk before I lung forward and begin my attack.
Dodging, slicing, from left to right, up and then down. Turning, kicking... and then for the finishing kill.
I come to halt, the two swords in either hand dripping with blood. I was panting softly. And bt the time I turned around, the killing intent was gone.
But around me lay, the dead bodies of these beasts.
I turn back to where I had left Mystic. I didn't miss the awe struck look Jax was giving me, but of course there was no time to explain
The more time we wasted, the more demons would attack us. And I couldn't risk losing my energy now, I needed to protect them both. Get them to safety.
I also had to help Myst and Kylan over at the castle.
I gather the still unconscious Mystic in my arms. Then slowly my eyes memorise her face, before they shift to Jax, who shrinks under them.
"You know where Lone Caves is right?" I ask, voice low.
He nods, "then take us there." I say quietly.
To which he does.
I needed to have Mystic treated, and I needed to regain my strength if I wanted to help the kingdom.

The moment we reach a blue gate, underneath a waterfall, at the centre and heart of the island...
Jax collapses on my shoulder.
He must have been exhausted as well.
I myself was slowly losing energy.
Soon, the gates pull open and I see a lady standing there. Waiting for us all.
"We need your help..." I start, but my visions blur, and I nearly stumble. But she stabilises me.
Turning over a shoulder to give out an instruction to her men behind.
"Get the best physicians here immediately."

Myst's Pov
I pull away slowly from Kylan.
"Thank you, I'll take it from here." I say softly.
He arcs a brow at me in question, not wanting to leave my side.
"You sure about that?" He asked softly to which I nod in agreement.
He sighs, after staring at me for a few seconds.
"Alright, I trust you." He takes a few steps back.
"Make the demons regret their existence." He adds with hardened eyes.
I give him a cruel smile, "You know me too well." I say in reply.
