Chapter 37 - Chapter-37

Sin put an end to the battle of being away from keyboard (AFK) on the ground floor and proceeded to ascend to the first floor. On this particular level, the primary adversaries were slimy creatures known as slimes. Similar to rats, these slimes possessed a lowly level 1 status, but occasionally, one could come across a slightly more formidable level 2 slime amidst their ranks.

One notable aspect is that these creatures are even more prolific in their reproduction than rats, and they are easier to exterminate. The agility of rats surpasses that of slime, allowing Sin to extract more force. Additionally, these creatures have the advantage of being absorbed more swiftly and easier by wood compared to other monsters.

Despite the fact that people often visit this dungeon, this poses a significant obstacle for Sin Abraham as it restricts his freedom, unlike the unrestricted nature of floor 0. Nevertheless, once people recognize him as Sin Abraham, they are too intimidated to approach or engage in conversation with him. However, even though this fear of interaction may seem advantageous to him, it still brings about discomfort. Consequently, he decides to alter his appearance by disguising himself as that mysterious figure wearing a hood.

At one point his force touched 2000N. This caused him to feel a sense of relief, as he believed that he had finally achieved an average level of strength for someone his age. With a joyful demeanor, he continued to relentlessly attack the slime creatures. As he successfully eliminated a specific number of slimes, he was thrilled to witness the appearance of something he had been anticipating. Much to his satisfaction, he discovered that there was a boss monster present even on level 1. Similar to the boss cat encountered on floor 0, this monster also possessed a formidable level of strength, being at level 20.

The monstrous creature that appeared before Sin was known as the Ghost Monster. Reacting swiftly to its presence, Sin swiftly hurled his spear, employing the technique known as Heaven Piercing Second Lotus, despite it being an incomplete maneuver. Nevertheless, the spear found its mark, striking the Ghost Monster's mask with precision. The impact of this single blow was so formidable that it destroyed the Ghost Monster's mask which was its main weak point, defeating it with remarkable efficiency.

In addition, something else fell from his possession, and it happened to be a mask. Sin stooped down to retrieve the mask and proceeded to cover his face with it.

[The Ghost Step ability has been activated. The activation of the Ghost Step ability has granted you the power to become nearly invisible to those around you, unless you initiate a conversation, establish physical contact, or directly appear within their field of sight.]

Sin was taken aback by the unexpected surprise. It seemed like this mysterious object he had come across was yet another Hax artifact. The curiosity and excitement within him grew, as he couldn't wait to harness the incredible abilities that this mask possessed. With a sense of urgency, he wasted no time and embarked on his journey towards the boss room on the tenth floor, by using his trusty Kamui.

As he proceeded further into the boss room, he came face to face with Hob Goblin, who stood there with a bow in hand. The sight of him caused the Hob Goblin Chief to raise his bow, ready to release an arrow. However, just in the nick of time, Sin miraculously teleported behind the Chief, leaving the Hob Goblin in a state of shock and confusion.

The dungeon monster became disoriented and began searching aimlessly for him in various directions. However, unbeknownst to the Hob Goblin Chief, he was actually right behind it. Even when he unintentionally crossed its field of vision, the monster remained oblivious to his presence, mistaking him for a mere rock resting on the ground.

The mask possessed incredible power, rendering Sin invisible to those who don't look directly at him. It was an eerie faceless white mask, lacking any openings for his eyes or mouth, yet somehow he was still able to perceive his surroundings. This mask was ideal for Sin, as it concealed his eyes from outsiders, allowing him to maintain a sense of anonymity. Whether he appeared as Sin or as that hooded figure, people would not be able to recognize him. However, Ira, being privy to his true identity, held the knowledge but Sin remained hopeful that she would not betray him by revealing it to others.

Following that, Sin tightly gripped his spear and forcefully drove it towards the head of Hob Goblin, he used a spearhead. In a matter of moments, a significant cavity emerged, bearing a resemblance to a gunshot wound caused by the discharge of a firearm.

Sin couldn't help but wonder why the boss of the 10th floor, unlike the bosses on the lower floors or even the Gorilla monster, didn't drop anything. This peculiar occurrence left him feeling baffled, but he decided not to delve deeper into it. After all, the mysteries and uncertainties of this world were far more vast and profound than what met the eye.

After reaching floor 11, Sin suddenly realized he had made a mistake and needed to go back. However, before he could retreat, a mysterious individual intercepted him, questioning his identity and demanding that he reveal his concealed face.

Sin was taken aback by the unexpected remarks from the mysterious individual, as he had never encountered him before within the confines of the dungeon. What caught Sin's attention, even more, was the fact that this stranger was adorned in lavish and expensive armor. Sin himself possessed the means to acquire numerous sets of such armor, but he refrained from doing so, as he believed it would hinder his personal growth. After all, Kamui, Sin's companion, already possessed an abundance of exceptional skills and techniques to protect himself. And of course, one could not overlook the immense power of the Mangekyo Sharingan that Sin himself possessed. And he also has that 'form' which can defend himself enough.

Sin told the man making a fake heavy and mature tone, "I must admit, I am not familiar with your identity or the reason behind your disrespectful demeanor towards me. However, kindly be aware that I am currently occupied with important matters, unlike yourself, who seems to be merely barking like a dog. I am choosing to let you go unharmed on this occasion. Please understand that if you were to persist with such behavior in the future, I will not hesitate to kill you instantly. Sayonara."

The man was completely taken aback by what he had just heard. In a state of disbelief, he struggled to comprehend the situation. However, before he could fully process it, Sin had already disappeared, utilizing the powerful technique known as Kamui.
