Ira simply cannot fathom the events that unfolded right before her eyes. The entire sequence of events occurred in a mere fraction of a second, leaving her utterly bewildered. Initially, she had believed that he would take a defensive stance, using his spear to protect himself against the impending attack. However, much to her surprise, he deviated from this expected course of action and opted to launch an aggressive assault instead.
And, somehow the Hob Goblin Chief failed to strike him with the halberd, and her household's renowned technique, the Heaven Piercing First Lotus, successfully pierced through the heart of the opponent. While she acknowledged his strength, she was taken aback by his exceptional power. Doubts arose in her mind regarding her ability to swiftly defeat the Hob Goblin with just one decisive strike. Realizing the gravity of the situation, she understood that she would need to exert maximum effort in order to overcome and vanquish Hob Goblin.
After witnessing Sin's incredible feat of the halberd seemingly passing through his body, she couldn't help but inquire about how he managed to pull off such a ghostly move. Sin playfully placed his finger on her lips, indicating that it was a secret he wasn't willing to divulge. Although this response left her feeling slightly flustered, her sense of pride prevented her from prying into someone else's personal secrets.
All the people around her were nodding sympathetically as if they truly comprehended the emotions she was experiencing at that moment. In addition, there was one individual who gazed at her with an inquisitive expression, as if silently questioning with eyes "Is it your first-time dear sister?"
After that, they proceeded to explore the 11th floor, which appeared to be significantly less challenging than initially anticipated. Subsequently, they continued their expedition and went past the 12th, 13th, and 14th floors, ultimately opting to halt their progress for the day upon reaching the 15th floor.
Rodriguez and his companions were under the impression that today's floor exploration was progressing at an unprecedented speed compared to other days. However, their train of thought was interrupted when Ira posed a thought-provoking question: What was their team name? Caught off guard, Rodriguez, along with the rest of the group, exchanged puzzled glances, while even Sin found himself scratching his head in an attempt to conjure up a suitable answer because he never asked or needed to ask it.
After a moment of contemplation, Rodriguez finally spoke up, stating that their team had no name. This decision was based on the belief that their collaboration was only temporary, and eventually, each member would embark on their own separate paths, no longer bound to this particular squad.
Ira shared her viewpoint about the team lacking a name, emphasizing that it takes away from the enjoyment, even if it is only a temporary squad. After pondering for a brief period, she conceived a name idea and presented it to the group. Ira suggested naming the team "Phantom Squad".
This particular name served as a clear indication to all, highlighting its origin in Sin's remarkable talent. Not a single person dared to express their dissatisfaction or discontent. Sin asserted that this name held superiority over a "no name" team, emphasizing the importance of leaving an everlasting image through their accomplishments, regardless of their perceived significance even if it just a little.
This precise moment marked the birth of the illustrious Dungeon Team, famously known as Phantom Squad. The founding members of this extraordinary squad will forever be etched in the annals of history, their exploits elevated to the status of legendary tales in the realm of Mythical Class adventures. However, the detailed narrative of their journey shall be reserved for another occasion, as it deserves a storytelling of its own.
After Ira and Sin made their way back to the grand mansion, their destination was the arena where they had arranged to meet Athena. Sin had shown her - a flawless replica of the initial stage of the Heaven Piercing Second Lotus which she had shown him a day before. This revelation left Athena astonished, although not to the same degree as her previous encounters. Contemplating her next move, she opted to momentarily shut her eyes and deliberate on whether or not to progress to the subsequent phase.
After contemplating for a brief period, she made the decision to unveil the subsequent phase. Mimicking her pose from the previous day, she proceeded to launch the spear. Nevertheless, this throwing motion deviated slightly from the previous day's, as she delicately twisted her fingers around the shaft. As a result, the spear gracefully spun through the air, captivating the onlookers.
When it landed where it was supposed to, it made a big spinning wave that went all around it. The wave was so strong that it reached really far, at least 4 radius meters centering the target. But the most important part was that the wave would make the person it hit fly away. It was like an AOE attack that affected a lot of people at once.
Once again, she repeats the same action as before. After demonstrating the technique to him once, she promptly exited the arena. Ira couldn't help but observe Sin, her eyes catching sight of his striking red orbs that were adorned with three comma-shaped marks. These peculiar markings, she deduced, were still activated in his eyes. Although she refrained from inquiring further, a thought formed in her mind, suggesting that perhaps these markings were somehow advantageous, aiding users in the act of stealing or replicating their opponent's moves.
To prove her theory right, Sin just casually grabbed the spear and pulled off the exact same move as Athena did a few moments ago. She couldn't help but wonder how he had eyes like that, eyes that could mimic someone's every move. And not only that but when he used those eyes during their fight, it was like he leveled up and became even stronger.
If she asked him about it, he probably wouldn't answer because she knows he hasn't fully accepted her yet. She also knows that the rumor about a challenge for marrying her was just a lie.
Even though it doesn't really bum her out, she kinda feels a bit sour about it. Honestly, she believes that Sin is not the person everyone assumed he was. He was both a badass and a total gentleman. She likes people like him.
