"What do you mean by that?" I looked up to find John exchanging glances with Leon.
"Hey, come on, would you stop troubling my wife? She's been through enough drama for one day," Leon said, trying to avoid my question, and I could tell he was avoiding eye contact with me.
How long have these two been working together? And why am I this clueless?
"So, would you both tell me everything, or do you want me to find out for myself?" I questioned, looking at both of them, just to receive a sigh from John.
"I told you we should have told her from the beginning..."
"Here we go again," Leon scoffed.
"I'll be honest with you and tell you my part of the story. I was seated by myself in my office when your husband over there came to me after our first encounter and offered me a deal. I couldn't miss my chances of having a good deal, so I accepted, okay," John said with a sigh, and I turned to find Leon giving John a killer look.
