"Mum, I told you it's nothing like that. I doubt if he even feels the same way I do," I sighed, laying on my back on the bed.
"Hmm, but you said he called you his woman in front of his grandfather, the king, and the other council members, and you're even sharing a room with him," she said, winking.
Damn, I know I shouldn't have face timed her.
"He did, and we're sharing a room, but it's just for now until he gets me another accommodation as he believes I'm not safe here," I complained, rolling my eyes.
"No matter what, always be by his side and never take off the necklace and hairpin I gave you," she said in her motherly tone, which made me want to pout and act a little stubborn. But remembering I was not with her and she couldn't protect me from over there made me comply.
"Alright, I'll do as you say, but why do you insist I keep them on?"
