Chapter 102 - Chapter 102: Garon's Dilemma

Crystal Dragon?

Garon paused briefly, taking a closer look at the white-haired young girl.

He was somewhat curious about the Crystal Dragon, known for mistakenly making a White Dragon Mother think her egg had been swapped, but he hadn't expected to encounter one on Luna's territory.

With her petite and well-proportioned figure highlighted by a single-colored, fitting dress that revealed smooth, slender legs under its pale silver hem, Nikolina was quite a sight.

After revealing her true dragon species, Nikolina retreated about ten meters and radiated a halo of light, within which her body rapidly grew in size.

Soon, a true dragon, just reaching the super-large category with an eighteen-meter length, appeared before Garon.

Its body was covered in fine scales that had a soft beauty, with a notably elongated neck, and its scales shimmered in a translucent white, like crystal, dazzling under the refracted light.

After showing her true form briefly, Nikolina once again used her transformation magic to shrink down to a human shape.

"Nice name, it has a pleasant sound," Garon commented, withdrawing his gaze and nodding kindly.

He said this, but inwardly he found Nikolina's name a bit odd.

"Hehe, thank you for the compliment," she giggled. "I think Garon also sounds very nice."

After a pause, the petite, loli-like human form of the Crystal Dragon shifted the conversation, saying, "There's a human country whose currency is called a galleon, just like your name. There are also beautiful gold coins called gold galleons, but the luster of your dragon scales outshines even the sparkling gold galleons."

"Even enchanting gemstones pale in comparison to you."

For a true dragon, being compared favorably to gold coins and gemstones was a high form of praise.

Hearing Nikolina's words, Garon was momentarily taken aback.

He blinked, looking down at the smiling Nikolina, momentarily at a loss for words.

If he wasn't mistaken, this Crystal Dragon was flirting with him? Much more directly than the White Dragon Mother.

Nearly adult or just adult true dragons often exhibited enthusiasm towards the opposite sex.

He hoped he was wrong about her intentions.

At that moment, Garon felt somewhat melancholy and sighed.

An overly impressive appearance sometimes proved to be a burden.

"It's surprising, you've changed so much in just half a year."

"Last time I saw you, you had just reached the large size category, and you must be quite young."

"I guess you are not fully adult yet."

"In half a year, you've grown from just entering the large size to a twenty-meter-long super-large dragon. Your bloodline must be exceptional, which is why you could grow to super-large size before reaching adulthood. Even with a Dragon Soul Stone, it wouldn't normally take you to your current level."

Luna had regained her composure and elegant demeanor, gracefully voicing her observations.

After a moment of thought, she casually inquired, "How old are you exactly?"

Garon considered, then shook his head, "Too outstanding to reveal."

Luna stopped twirling her blonde hair around her finger and chuckled, "If it's inconvenient to reveal, that's fine, but you're definitely not adult yet."

Garon nodded in agreement, "You're right about that; I still have some time before I reach adulthood."

Hearing their conversation, Nikolina suddenly spoke up excitedly, "Then you're just like me, it really is fate."

Garon gave her a peculiar look and remained silent.

Nikolina's thick eyelashes trembled as she stared intently at Garon, "I really want to have offspring, so I've been looking for a suitable partner. Garon, are you interested?"

After speaking, she twirled around to showcase her appealing form.

Without waiting for Garon to respond, she continued, "If you agree, I can build you an ice crystal palace, even more grand and majestic than the one I built for Sister Luna."

"Then we could propagate our lineage there, raising them to be neutral yet kind dragons."

"And, I really love having offspring; if you don't mind, we could have a brood every year, the more the merrier."

Nikolina spoke excitedly and chuckled mischievously, as if imagining an interesting future.

On the other side, Garon shifted his gaze, noticing a loophole in Nikolina's overenthusiastic speech.

He ignored Nikolina's straightforward remarks, asking instead, "Did you build this ice crystal palace?"

Nikolina nodded quickly, like a pecking chicken, "Yes, yes, do you like it?"

"If you like it, be my partner. Besides the palace, I can also make sculptures. Would you like a grand sculpture that your kin could worship? Let me tell you, I..."

Overexcited, Nikolina's face flushed

, causing Garon to feel that she was a bit too talkative, which wasn't his preferred personality trait.

But that was an ice crystal palace!

Should he first find a way to have her construct the ice crystal palace for him?

Garon hesitated, but after a few seconds of internal struggle, he firmly refused, "I am not currently looking for a partner."

After the incident with the White Dragon Mother, Garon felt it was better to be clear and decisive about such matters. Dragging it out could lead to complications.

"That's too bad, I really like you," Nikolina said.

"Whenever you change your mind, remember me."

"I can't wait forever, but even if I have a partner by the time you think of me, I promise I'll switch them out right away!"

Nikolina earnestly made her assurance to Garon.

The elegant Silver Dragon shook his head in embarrassment for Nikolina's words but said nothing to discourage her.

Garon chuckled silently, feeling a moment of sympathy for Nikolina's future partner. He then decided not to continue this topic, stating, "While I'm not looking for a partner, I indeed want a palace similar to this ice crystal one."

"If you agree, I'm willing to offer a significant amount of magical equipment in exchange for you to build the palace for me."

He wouldn't give up any gems, no matter what.

Those piles of magical equipment collecting dust could be used for the trade.

Nikolina hesitated not at all, slapping her proud chest and agreeing, "No problem, leave it to me, I'm great at building palaces."

"However, I recently have to take care of two human children for Sister Luna, so I can't start on your palace right away."

Garon thought of Amos and Lilith when she mentioned the human children.

"No worries, whenever you're free to start is fine, I'm not in a hurry," he nodded.

Then, before the two mother dragons, Garon's agile tongue flicked out, revealing a fiery red staff.
