Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 A Sudden Occurance Part One

17:00 Military Calendar.

Normal Time 5:00 p.m.

Arenian City Present Time.

It was daytime the sun was still up and shining its light down on the busy city of arenian and its citizens. Usually, by five in the afternoon, it would be close to almost nighttime but the world of vahrian was quite different than most worlds that the Spartan and his A.I. Companion had been in.

He wandered on along the way following after randas and her groups of hunters. For a while, he struggled to keep the body of the basilisk from being dirty and also having flies trying to get a prick at the dead carcasses of the serpent, but thanks to the aid of the other hunters Gallard Olarn and Escavan, they offered to keep any flies and insects from even landing on the dead basilisk.

Yet some of them thought they may have made a mistake, for the smell from the dead serpent was starting to ooze off especially since they were so close to the dead creature.

The others offered to help five carry the dead basilisk but the spartan denied it saying he could handle it, escavan had even proposed making a large enough carriage to put the dead creature on top of it and that five could pull it along the way as to make it easier for him in the long trip.

"You know sometimes im glad I'm not a human at this point, those three poor souls behind you are surely struggling to keep their noses closed from the smell," muttered Deha.

"Then it's a good thing you don't have one for now, cause would've joined them," Added five.

"Oh, but I am, you know by being in the of your head," replied Deha.

"Somehow I doubt that doesn't help at this point," replied Five.

"Halt!"

"What now!" The voice of Skylar said speaking up.

Three town guards can be seen strolling towards the hunters with two of them holding spears.

Five could sense that something wasn't right and saw that Skylar and two of her crew were acting quite differently.

"Lady Skylar, you are here ordered by your father to be escorted back to your home," said the lead guard.

Sighing to herself Skylar let out an exasperated grunt. "Tell my father that I said im busy, as you can see town guard, my friends and i are escorting a dead basilisk to the town diner," Said Skylar pointing at where the spartan was standing.

The three guards were quite surprised to see a large figure bared in green armor of unknown holding the head of a dead basilisk.

"Who is he?" The lead guard said pointing at five.

Randas could see the hands of the guards gripping their spears worriedly and stepped in to stop anything from happening. "This is five, he is a friend of mine, he's just offering his service to help drag this old serpent back to Lady Bast's diner... You know for a reward,"

The guards can be seen softening their grip as the lead one speaks up once more. "Apologise stranger, we just haven't seen you before,"

Five didn't say anything and just responded with a simple nod their way.

"But lady Skylar, you said that you would deny our order, so he also asked us to keep you safe," Said the guard.

"Of course, I don't see a way I can get you guys off my back, yes, you can accompany me and my friends to the diner," Said Skylar.

The three guards bowed their heads in confirmation and turned to lead the front as people who were in the way stepped aside.

"Well, I gotta say that helps us out a lot," Xalla said speaking up.

"Yes, at least people won't slow us down for now," Commented Randas.

It didn't take long for the crew to arrive at the front walkway of one of arenian city's famous diner.

Five was about to take a step up the stairs when randas put her hands up.

"Hold up there big guy, you can't take the whole basilisk through the front entrance, you'll have to go around to that gate over there, that's where hunters with the big kill drag one of the big kills, go on don't be afraid, there'll be a lady there to help you with the basilisk,"

"Perhaps we can lend our aid stranger," One of the guards said offering his help.

"No thanks,"

Five after denying the guard's turn nodded at Randa and began stepping through the crowded area.

The gate that Randa was pointing to was about fifty-six yards away from the main entrance of the diner so he had to make sure not to drop the large body of the basilisk and crush any people that were walking by, but to his appreciation, the spartan was at least thankful that some people prefer to stay away a good seven feet from a towering figure of his while he carried the basilisk towards the large back gate of the diner.

A man who was hauling a wheel barrel of some kind saw the spartan coming his way stopped and knocked on the small wooden door that was right next to the gate.

"What! What!" The voice of an elderly woman can be heard screaming.

"Hey lady nasder, I think you got an order," Said the man.

The locks on the door can be heard unlocking as multiple of them are being worked through and the spartan sees the single knob being turned and out walked a woman dressed in what seems to be a butchered dress.

The woman glared at the man with eyes that could cause a man to step back until she followed where the man was pointing.

She glanced at the torso armor part of the spartan and moved her head up to where his helmet was at.

"Boy you must be that stranger that everyone in arenian City is talking about, tell me What is your name boy?" The lady said asking with a bit of authority.

"Five ma'am," The spartan answered.

"Well five I don't got time to ask you for your actual name, so im a have to do with the number. Wait there, I'll get the gate opened for you,"

"Well, she seems to be in a bad mood," Deha spoke.

"If you work at a meat market, I'd imagined it'll get a bit worse for the workers there," Said five.

Moments later the gate was opened and the old lady nasder motioned for the other man that held the left gate to keep it still. Lady nasder smiled for the spartan as she motioned for him to step on through.

Five thanked her and strolled past a couple of awestruck faces of man and woman who saw him dragging a giant basilisk.

Nasder and the other man soon closed the gate as she followed after the spartan while the man locked the gate.

"Don't mind the stare, Mr. Five. People aren't used to new visitors. Tell me you aren't one of those people green who happens to be the ones that the empire is dealing with?" Lady nasder said as she walked alongside the spartan.

"People in green, may I ask who they are ma'am?" Five was a bit off guard by that comment of Lady nasder.

This was like the second and third time he'd heard of the mentions of the people in green. While he and the hunters were trekking through the forest he had deha fill him in on what she found out about the satellite that was orbiting a hillside just hundreds of miles away from the empire's many vassal states.

He even asked deha if this satellite belonged to the UNSC or if they were the ones who set it up, and what she said afterward shocked him at the time being. Deha said that when she had hacked into the satellite she found out who the people made it, she said that these people in green more commonly known by the people

of vahrian as men in green came from a twenty-first-century time.

At first five thought that it was impossible for an army from five hundred years in the past to suddenly appear in a medieval fantasy world, yet eventually, he accepted it saying that he too and that of the unsc had appeared here as well.

When the mention of the UNSC crossed his mind the spartan was assessing that he should get out there and find his people but thwarted that idea from doing so for if he had out and gone to them he reckoned that ONI or the unsc peeps would be waiting for him with cuffs in hands.

To rationalize it, before he was sent to stop a covenant ship master and his armies from attacking one of humanity's homeworlds he was tasked by a certain O.N.I. admiral to go and hunt down a UNSC colonel, on the way then he received a message from the said admiral, he read the com message saying that the colonel or widely known as colonel James Ackerson was one of the possible insurrectionist spies that was attempted to assassinate admiral hood.

It was weird for him when he received that message because at first when he had visited Earth due to a spartan friend who had invited him he had gotten word from ONI admiral Osman saying that she wanted the colonel to be brought in for questioning and the spartan agreed on it until a day later after he left earth for to get Ackerson he got words from the admiral ordering him that if he sees colonel James Ackerson he is to be shot on sight. Of course five didn't do it in the middle of a public area, he had taken the time on his first visit to the planet to watch Ackerson until he was alone, the only reason why Five was having trouble was that the colonel had guards everywhere with him, yet it was good the spartan was patient enough and chose to stay hidden.

The only other thing is that if Five chose to expose himself in public the colonel would've been on alert due to him being very familiar with the spartan 2's and especially that of the 3's.

"Hello, are you still there?" Lady Nasder said as she banged a frying pan against a rock to her side which made one of her coworkers wince in discomfort due to her being very close by.

Shaking his head the spartan turned to where she was standing. "Sorry ma'am, I was reminiscing on a memory of mine,"

"Well ya better open your ears next time, or at least take that helmet of yours off, fresh air wouldn't hurt ya!" Lady nasder said pointing the pan up at the visor of the spartan's helmet.

"Madam nasder, the table you've asked for is ready," said a voice from behind her.

Five and Lady Nasder glanced at a youthful boy and a girl who both seemed to be waiting for something else.

"Good! Keep the door open, make sure that the table is long enough for this basilisk to be cut up on, and get a poison extractor, we don't want anyone else to end up dead in the diner," The lady said as two other people rushed after the order was given.

Afterward, Lady Nasder motioned for five to bring the basilisk inside another building, this building that the spartan could see was about the size of a small restaurant, and once he was inside he looked around the place where he could see multiple other people working on cutting up meats belonging to different kind of animals and creatures.

To his left, he saw two of the kids that he'd seen once he and Brandon's family had entered this part of the city's town. The two teenagers looked up sensing someone else looking their way and saw the spartan's helmet looking at them till he turned another way and followed after the lady answer and two other kids their age.

"Boy, you sure are strong enough to lift that thousand-pound serpent, you sure ya don't need help lifting it onto the table?" Commented Lady nasder.

"Yes ma'am," Five said replying simply.

Walking over to the table he had first told the two other kids and anyone nearby to back off as he slowly lifted the great of the basilisk's body and slowly again set it on the table.

"Well, now that you've done us a huge favor, here's your reward for the kill," said Lady nasder as she pulled out a pouch filled with the sounds of coins being squished together.

"No need, I didn't come here for a reward," Said five trying to deny the pouch.

"Oh don't give me that nobleman talk Mr. Five. You are the one who brought the beast in, did you not?" Said nasder.

"Yes," Five was going to speak again but the older woman cut him off.

"Then correct me if im wrong, are you the one who killed the basilisk, because it's pretty obvious to us arenian people that not many people could kill a basilisk, trust me, a lot have tried, and some died some came back with their life barely hanging onto them," Said lady nasder.

From the woman's side, one of the youngsters spoke up. "She is right Mr. Basilisk's are not easy to kill, heck even hunters of around twenty groups would have problems dealing with the creatures, especially one this large, and it's very clear to everyone else here that Lady Randas and her groups weren't the ones who laud the final blow," Added the kid.

When hearing that five was going to tell him that it was actually the hunters who released the large stake down onto the serpent's head until Deha's holographic face appeared in his visor from the inside. "Oh for the love of **** just accept it koa, I swear you walking spartans are all alike when it comes to receiving rewards. Take god-damn it! Besides, you never know when the things might come in handy,"

"Alright, I'll take it," said five.

Lady nasder smiled gleefully as she gave the bag of coins to the spartan to which he caught it and a compartment part from the left side of his waist armor opened out with a hiss and he put the pouch inside it.

"Thank you,"

"Good, the exit door is right over there, or you can take the back gate,"

As the spartan was about to head on out he and the lady nasder and basically everyone in the room overheard a commotion going on. Turning to their left five and Lady Nasder saw one of the two kids from before standing up against a group of hunters, yet for some reason the spartan saw that these particular hunters wore outfits dissimilar from that of Arenian's hunters.

The outfit they had on was red with purple running down the left side of their chest armor with bat-like heads on their right shoulders.

The lead man who was likely the leader of the group pointed a finger at the boy's chest and pushed him back with what looked like a gush of air. This caught the spartan's eyes cause it looked to him that the man had just used some sort of mysticism out of nowhere.

"Oh great them again!" Muttered the girl who was just about to cut up the basilisk.

"Who are they?" Spoke five.

"They are balians, hunters belonging to that of the nearby kingdom of Armenians ocean, their king must've come here for the festival, and every time he visits, he brings his hunters along the way," Answered the girl.

The Balian hunter smirked as turned to his groups of hunters with a smile not knowing that the boy he had pushed had a sister whose eyes glowed purple and when the Balian man heard a whooshing sound he turned to see what it was and his eyes widened as the girl grit her teeth and before she could use whatever magic she had within her lady nasder came in just in time and redirected her arms up at the roof, and what happens afterwards caused those close by to cover their eyes and ears as parts of the roof was shattered when a purple wave of smoke was sent upward and onto the sky.

Sighing to herself the lady nasder looked at the girl and told her to go get her brother who was sent rolling. "I'd suggest you go and help your brother young lady,"

The girl was about to reject Lady nasder words but a girl from behind her pulled her away in a hurry.

The Balian man from behind mouth closed after witnessing what he saw and was about to call out to the girl to stop when Lady nasder held her wooden staff out with the head of it inches away from his neck.

"And where might you think you are going," spoke Lady nasder with a bit of animosity in her voice.

"That girl, she just used skaesul magic," Uttered the man.

"So what," replied Nasder.

"So she belongs to the Balian kingdom, out of my way woman!" Said the man as he tried walking past Lady nasder yet she didn't budge.

"I don't think you have any authority here in arenian nor any kingdoms, except that of your king's domain," said Nasder.

"Oh but we do old woman, we have every right to detain those of skaesul magic users, and in case you forgot, the king has ordered any Balian hunters to find any of our runaway people and bring them back home!" Said the man.

"Oh I know exactly what you and your king intend to do with Balian citizens born with skaesul magic, y'all just want to use them as fuel for some magical shield to the point where they are just slaves," added Lady nasder.

The man instead of heeding the lady nasder's words grunted in frustration, he then stepped back with both hands raised in surrender. Lady nasder turned around and was about to head on over to check on the girl and her brother when from behind her the Balian man smirked evilly and shot his right arm out only to fail when an armored hand caught him in the palm and forced it to close which resulted in him to let out out a painful cry when feeling one of his fingers being crushed.

"I don't think that'll be happening," Spoke five.

The Balian man lackeys who took a step back in shock at the spartan readied themselves to attack the green-armored behemoth but as they were about to the door from the other side of the room slammed open and in lady doranda and three arenian towns guards entered with swords unsheathed. The last person that Five saw coming in was a man he hadn't seen before, but whoever he was the people inside the room let out a sigh of relief while that of the balian hunters displayed a sense of fear when they saw the man.

"Oh Lady Doranda, it's good to see you," Spoke the lady nasder.

Doranda who saw the call of her name walked over to Lady Nasder and greeted the old woman out of respect. "Nasder, it's good to see you old friend,"

"I to you as well young lady, and Mr. Ondar. You're still young as always," said Lady nasder teasing the man to which he laughed and hugged the old woman.

"It is great to see you Madam Nasder!" Spoke the man known as Ondar.

"Let go of me mongrel!" Shouted the Balian man whose hand was still in the grip of the spartan.

"Ahhh, please you two, let me introduce you to the talk of the city itself, this is, fi-

"Five, yes. It is good to see you five," Doranda said as she walked up to the spartan and shook his free hand.

"It's good to see you too ma'am," Responded five.

"You two wouldn't believe this but the giant here brought in something that hasn't been in the diner for quite some time," spoke Lady nasder.

"I can see that, tell me, Mr. Five. Was my daughter safe during her hunt with you?" Asked ondar.

"Yes sir. She in fact is in the diner with her friends," Responded the spartan.

"Then I thank you for keeping her out of trouble, she happens to be a magnet to one," Says the man with a bit of laughter.

"Something that you happen to share," quips Deha.

Five was about to respond to A.I. Companion Philanderer when he heard Lady Doranda speak.

"I think our Balian friend here is free to go now five," She said as she winced slightly at the sound of the other man's finger snap when he had tried to force himself free.

His head glanced down at the struggling man and unclasped his hand from his own and let him go.

"I can't say I feel bad for you Balian hunter," commented Ondar.

"You! You will pay for this giant!" The Balian hunter said as he was helped up by his lackeys.

"I wouldn't recommend that Balian man, for you are lucky that if five wasn't here, I would've sticked this staff up your ***** before you could even see it," spoke Lady nasder making both ondar and doranda chuckle.

"Guards, would you guys care to escort our here back to their ent," Orders doranda.

"As you wish lady doranda,"

The Balian hunters were trying to refuse the escort but the three guards pushed them along the way as they led them on out the door.

"Glad that's over with," said Nasder.

"Yes," added Ondar.

"So ondar tell me, how was your visit to the queen vassna kingdom?" Asked Lady nasder.

"It was fine, but im afraid that the queen was not in the best of mood when I visited," replied Ondar.

"Oh really, how come?" Asked Lady nasder.

"You know of the empire," Said the man.

"Yes, that damn so-called emperor, let me guess, he wanted to ask the queen for aid in going through this gate," Said nasder.

"Yes ma'am, eventually, he had his mages summoned up a gate to which he sent a small troop, and when they came back they had people, strange people locked in cages, these so-called people of the east had even been sold to the queen as a sign of trust between the emperor and her, but the Queen refused the offer and had the woman free, but instead of doing as she asked the emperor's soldier had her taken back to her cell whereas the king of Balian accepted the offer and wished to join the emperor in this gate travel,"

"Gate," said Deha.

The spartan shut off his outer speaker as he wanted to speak with his partner. "You said something about the gate before hadn't you,"

"Yes, from what I have gotten so far these people in green had forced the Empire troops back and retook the hillside that the gate was built upon," Answered deha.

"You also said something about an army stationed there, if they somehow meet the unsc then I reckoned that our people would want to meet them out of curiosity," Said the spartan.

"Yes, I too think that will happen, but for now we need to focus on the matter at hand, which is to find out how we would have to explain to the unsc how in the world we all ended up here,"

"Hey five, if you don't mind, we would like for you to accompany us to the arenian capital," Said doranda.

"May I ask why?" Wondered five.

"Ser Lester, leader of arenian wished to meet with you, of course alongside some other important individuals," added ondar.

"Welp, looks like everywhere we go someone else always wants to meet my very old tin can... Say yes," Deha told him.

"Alright, when will that be?" Asked the spartan.

"Before the start of the arrival of the other kings and queens, he wishes to meet you since you are a very famous hero," said Doranda.

"Hero?" Five didn't know why he spoke that out but remained from speaking after it.

"Yes, you see, the villages you helped cleanse off of the raiders happen to be part of the other kings and queens' territory, and they wish to see who they see you up front," answered Ondar.

Not wanting to jeopardize what he had done in the past weeks since his stay in one of the villages the spartan nodded his head and followed after the Lady Doranda and ondar.

"Good luck out there five, and make sure next time you save my life, you break that Balian man's hands for good," spoke Lady nasder.

P.O.V. SER LESTER.

A man walked up to his wardrobe and opened it, on the inside was the outfit that he'd usually worn whenever someone of nobility visited his city of arenian.

Unfortunately for him, the people who'd be visiting him this time weren't someone he would have expected.

At about noon during the opening day of his city's gate people from across vahrian or more specifically the allied kingdoms would come and see the arenian festivity since it was one of the Vahrian's holiday celebrations after the first and second wars.

Yet the ones who'd be visiting this time were kings and queens for they had not only come here for the festival, they came after the large falling star that had appeared the last five moon rise, specifically last month. The reason for their visit they hadn't told him, even when he had asked for it.

But for him to get the answers he wants he would have them once they gathered in his building before the first trial by combat something that even many warriors from the different allied lands are here for.

"Ser Lester," Said a voice while knocking on his door.

"Yes, whoever it is, you can enter," Said Lester.

Opening the door a woman and man dressed in service uniform entered the chamber and bowed their heads.

"Ser Lester, we are here to inform you that the kings and queens have arrived just as you predicted and they are awaiting your presence in the diner room," announced the woman.

"I see, tell them that I'll be there in just a moment," Responded Lester as he turned to his wardrobe but was halted once again by the two servants.

"Forgive us see Lester, but Lady Doranda and Ser Ondar have with them the person you've asked for, they are waiting for your words if the person called five should be presented yet or not?" The man said to which Lester presently faced them quickly.

"Are you certain of that," said Lester.

"Yes my lord, the two of them and the star guest are patiently awaiting your presence,"

"Then it looks like I'll be hurrying for good, would you two please excuse yourself and wait outside while I change!" Said a hurried Lester.

"As you wish my lord,"

Ser Lester locked the door after the two servants closed the door after that he strolled over to his wardrobe and opened and pulled out his usual outfit that he used for whenever visitors came over.

About a couple of minutes later while the two servants were patiently waiting outside they heard the door being unlocked as the knob twisted and outstepped their lord bore in his outfit for the day.

"My lord, I must say, you look good as always in that outfit," Said the woman.

"Thank you, lady Jade. Please lead me to the royals, they must be bored out of their mind for now," Said Lester.

__________

For what felt like hours to the royals and noblemen and women they took the time to speak with one another while some of them were served wine and delicacy by the servants.

As they were retaining themselves from boredom one nobleman and his wife were headed up the long fifty steps of the building. Most of them complained about the fact that this ser Lester had built this many stones of steps, the ones who didn't complain were either talking by the building's door or the many balconies as they were listening to the musicians playing their instruments of songs.

A single nobleman by the name of Follan and his wife bexsta were led up by their guards, and to the right of them were their six children following after them.

Follan being the man of his house stopped for a second and turned to look down at his son who was almost knocked over by his sister.

"Zanfra! Knock it off, you and your brother need to stop this nonsense, we are here to visit an old friend, so I suggest that both of you cease this behavior before the two of you join the kids in the stables, do you understand me!" Commanded Follan said with slight irritation in his voice.

"Sorry Father, we apologize, well on my behalf, I don't know about her though," The son said.

"Why you-

"That's enough, next time I hear you two make a noise, you really will be cleaning the stables!" Their mother bexsta said.

"Yes, mother!" Responded the two kids.

"My lords,"

Follan and bexsta thanked their guards and entered the building, once they were inside noises caused almost both of them and people of nobility and royals to go deaf from how clamorous the place was.

To their far left, a certain man was seen speaking with some of the royalty, and realizing who it was, he held his wife's hand and pulled her along with him.

"Ahhh, ser follan, madam bexsta. It is good to see you two," spoke Lester.

"We thank you ser Lester," Follan said greeting him.

"Please, there's no need for us to be too formal. We've grown up together in the same town," Bexsta said speaking up.

Sighing inwardly for he knew that this would've come about from someone whom he deemed as like an older sister Lester spoke up in a way as he whispered to them so that others nearby wouldn't hear.

"You would have to forgive me you two, I on the other hand tend to keep myself in the best act in front of this many royals and nobles,"

"Sorry Lester, you know how bexsta is when she's in a bad mood," Follan said as he moved his eyes toward the six kids behind them.

Smiling at himself Lester was glad that he hadn't decided to settle down too early and have kids of his own like his two old friends. "I can see that, but you two can always have them wait in the other room, you know where children and youngsters are playing with the Griffins and magic shows,"

"You always seem to be prepared for everything old friend, but trust me, for as much as I am leaning towards that offer I'm afraid that is not what these kids need right now, they need to learn how to be formal around others, especially in a crowd like this," Bexsta said referring to the royals and nobles alike.

"Of course bex, I too had to learn that way when I was handed this city by the empress as a reward for fighting the orc lord, at first I wasn't one of the royalties or noble people alike, but I could not be myself as always and so I have to learn how to cope with being lord of this city," Commented lester.

"And that's what I admire about you, Ser Lester,"

The three friends didn't hear the person walking up to them which was evident enough cause of the loud noise from the people around the place, but when Lester and his two colleagues heard that voice it sounded familiar to them as if they knew who it was.

Lester saw Follan and Bexsta's eyes broadened slightly out of surprise, wondering who it was the man turned around to see this person and saw that it was someone that neither he nor anyone had expected to see especially in a place like this.

"Queen lager! It is an honor to have you here," said Bexsta as she along with her family and lester bowed their heads at the woman.

The woman who stood there wore a plated armored outfit, on the inside of what looked to be her white tunic was a chainmail shirt and on the outside, she wore a long-sleeve shouldered iron dress that reached down to her calves.

"Please there's no need for you three to bow down to me, after all, you guys are a friend of my mother," Spoke the woman with sounding respect towards her three elders.

"Forgive us my queen, but we didn't expect that someone of your caliber would visit a place like this!" Spoke up bexsta.

"Please, I don't mind this place, I just wanted to get out of my castle of a prison, besides, I wanted to visit the village turned city of my mother," Spoke the queen.

"Your mother, if you don't mind me asking my queen, but since you are here, will the empress be showing up as well?" Said Lester as even Follan was in on the same question as well.

"I'm afraid not, my mother or the empress herself has some issues to deal with at the moment, so she won't be coming, no matter how much she wanted to... But she did send her regards," said the queen.

"I see, may I ask how many of you and your siblings have visited?" Asked lester.

"Just me and two of my children and my brother," answered the Queen.

"Brother! Forgive me, but which one?" Asked follan.

"Right sorry, I keep forgetting I have ten siblings, but um yes, my brother King Safran is here as well, he should be arriving with his two kids and Lady Cavronth," Said the queen.

"I see, since you guys are here, please allow me to lead you all to a table for it is almost time for us all to dine," added Lester.

"Now there's something I agree on, I myself am quite hungry," said the queen as she rubbed her belly.

Not long after every one of the royals and nobles alike was seated at their chosen tables as the musicians slowly played quiet yet soothing melodies for them.

On the top center of the tables sit lester along with his two old friends while the Queen and her childrens sit in the back center of lesters table where eight guards stand guard over them with four on the left and another four on the right.

While his friends were talking with other people nearby Ser Lester scooted over to speak in secrecy with the queen not that he didn't trust his two friends but because he wanted to know why the queen visited for if she decided to come over to arenian she'd sent a raven or at least a messenger just like every one of the royals and nobles did.

"Excuse me, lady lager, but there is something that has been bothering me for quite a while, why have you all of a sudden decided to show up, in mean with all due respect my queen, we both know that you did not come here for the city's festival," Lester said whispering.

Eating down a piece of chicken meat the queen responded to the man's question. "Glad you ask, you heard of the many villages that were being pillaged by the raiders right,"

"Of course, in fact, that is the reason that almost all of the royals and nobles are here," answered Lester.

"Well, the reason why im here is to meet the one who seems to be the talks amongst these people," Queen Lager said to him.

"You've also heard of the stranger's deeds," said Lester calming down now that he knew why she was here.

"Yes, and it's all thanks to one of the villages that lives nearby my kingdom, at first one of the people came rushing to us of an attack on her village, so I sent a couple of my troops to stop the attack, and what they've found was quite of a savagery they hadn't seen for a while,"

"Ahh, yes, I've also heard about that sort of incident, whoever this stranger is, he seems to enjoy killing raiders," added Ser lester.

"Agreed, but that's not all, one other reason I want to know about this stranger is that he exhibits some sort of hatred for rebels, well only the bad ones," said the queen.

Glancing at her lester wondered what she had meant by that. "Whatever do you mean by that assumption, my queen?"

"You may not know it but somehow my mother had sent rangers of her own to track down this stranger, they first came to my kingdom to confirm if I knew who the stranger was, and all I've ever told them was that I'm as lost as she is on who the mysterious man is,"

"Well glad you've said that my queen, cause I think you'll be getting the answer you want," commented Lester.

"Yes, which is why im here, and damn it if it is gonna take long, and after some weeks of finding who he is, I will be getting some stress off of my mind," Said queen Lager.

As they were conversing with one another a man or more specifically the announcer walked in on the center of the room after it was cleared of the people by guards. The announcer thanked them coughed onto his hand and spoke.

"Ladies and gentlemen, it is within my honor that I would like to declare that the festival arena will be starting after the third bang of the bell, so please do remain calm, and always, I hope y'all enjoy your day for this is the time y'all been waiting for, guards if you would, please pull the lever,"

"About time," said Bexsta.

The rest of the room soon started moving, the floors slowly moving apart and from their sides, everyone watched in awe of the wall behind them extracting, and to their surprise, they were all bombarded by the roar of the audience as they screamed out into the arena.

The arena itself was a rectangular shape with the size of an NFL stadium, it was three hundred eighty-six feet long with a width of four hundred and sixteenth.

On each corner of the arena itself were poles made out of stones, in the center was the shape of a circle, and it was pretty noticeable enough that soon the fighters would begin getting lifted up and out of the hidden room under the whole arena.

Afterward, the announcer was seen floating in midair as ge slowly drifted toward the middle whereas everyone in the audience could see him. People may be wondering how he was floating in the air but others who understood the content of magic knew that it was a mage who was responsible for keeping the man up in the air without trouble.

As he came about to a certain height the man spread out his arms and spoke once again.

"Ladies and gentlemen, it is I your favorite bardman, who is ready for the warrior's representatives of each kingdom, who'll be fighting for their kings and queen's home,"

Soon after he said that a loud coerce of yells and shouts evaporated throughout the stadium, and people were booing others out of pure rivalry between Kingdoms. It was pretty accurate that some royals had visited arenian to prove to others that their warriors were far better while others like that of Queen Lager came just for the merriment of the festival arena.

Lady bexsta scooted near the Queen as she leaned her head closer. "So my lady, I suppose you brought in your own warrior to represent your kingdom?"

Smiling at herself the queen lets out a chuckle. "Who says I hadn't,"

"Oh! I see, no wonder why you were so excited for this event!" Exclaimed Lady bexsta.

"Yep, although it was kind of difficult at first," said Queen Lager.

"Whatever do you mean by that, my lady?", inquired lady bexsta.

"The one who'll be fighting on my behalf is my daughter, Princess Nalarian," Answered the queen.

As the queen and her friends were conversing with one another a guard came from behind and leaned down whispering something to the queen, Ser Lester and his two other friends heard this, and the three of them didn't try to stop the Queen when she stood up sharply from her seat for they joined her and followed after as she stormed through the door that was behind them.

Strolling next to the queen Lady Bexsta had to hold up most of her dress so she could keep up with the queen. "My lady, are you alright!"

"Yes lady bexsta, but the ones who dare to lay their hands on my little girl will not be," replied Lady Lager.

The other two men Ser Lester and Follan hurriedly speed walk to the two women's sides for they had to stay behind to tell the guards to protect their kids.

"Guard, tell me where this incident happened, and lead us there!" Commanded Ser lester.

"Which one of the queen's children was injured guardsman?" Asked Lady bexsta with a commanding tone.

The guard answered with a slight bow of his head and responded. "Yes my lords, Princess Ellyy one of the queen's daughters had left her room without apprising her two guards by disguising herself as a servant, from what I've gotten, she was on her way to find her sister nalarian but was stopped by two individuals,"

"These two individuals, did you find out who they were? Or where they are from?" Inquired lady bexsta.

"No, my lady, but whoever they are, they were well prepared and were ready to kill the princess until the stranger ceased the two from accomplishing their tasks," Answered the guard.

"Stranger!" Pondered follan.

"Is this stranger with my daughter!" Demanded Queen Lager.

"Yes, my queen,"

"Then lead us to them," said the queen...
