Chereads / Matched to My Monster / Chapter 3 - Luana 3

Chapter 3 - Luana 3

The Targen looked like slimes something I had to stop myself from saying as Fytin pressed on. "They do not have limbs in the expected sense. As you can see they do not fit Human body standards. They grow and retract their tentacles as needed." I stared at the hologram that had appeared in the center of his desk. The light blue color reminding me of the first fall days. I did not feel initial attracted to the creature but I was not outright opposed. Although the fact I thought of it as a creature did not brood well for any future we would have.

"They remind me of Slimes from drawings..." I supplied.

His head tilted slightly, " I can see how you would draw that parallel but they would find the idea quiet offensive. They are also perfectly compatible with Humans," he added. "For coupling they grow appendages as needed. Since they eat raw food some accommodations would need to made for you. The biggest down side, while temporary, is they have a very strong body odor."

My stomach instantly flipped. I had a strong sense of smell compared to many of my people. Still he pressed on, "After a couple of weeks your sense of smell would all but be gone so it would not be a problem." Gone because I would be dead. Afterall if the smell was as bad as I was thinking I would not be able to keep anything down.

I blinked at him, "I think this one might be too out there for me."

"Right," he sighed. "Targen are very difficult to match. Perhaps someone with less extreme in terms of physical differences then?" He typed once more on the keyboard. A new being displayed on the hologram. While this new one was definitely a improvement in the having limbs department I felt myself recoil. I was looking at a hairless rat complete with a mole nose. It was also purple! The only thing remotely attractive to me was the broad muscled chest that lost its appeal since it looked like he took steroids.

"Don't answer. Judging by your emotions the poor Jukji does not meet your approval. How about something more Human in appearance? How abot the Zitiv?"

The Zitiv in question was neon yellow. That hurt my eyes. Once again hairless. I started to wonder if most species lacked hair. He had a rat tail which I was on broad with. However, I could not get over the wrinkles that had wrinkles or the wiggling skin on his stomach I was afraid to ask about. How was he getting this so wrong? Was it always like this? I glanced at him wondering if he had drank something fun not too long ago. I was only half shocked to find a teasing gleam in his eyes. I had sort of thought this might happen but Cupions were known to be pretty serious as a whole.

"Are you done making fun of me?" I asked.

"I would never do such a thing," he said with heavy exaggeration. Apparently they had a joking side. Who knew? I smiled at him and shook my head. "Okay so maybe I was teasing a little, but you are the one who said you wanted weird and unusual."

"Fair enough," I said. "I guess I meant within reason. "

"There we go. More often than not people tend to tell us what they think they want, but really could not be farther from it. You need to understand what it is you really want. So what is it you actually want, Luana?"

I squared my shoulders and actually thought about it. Beyond the monster lover fantasy... what did I want? I hated to admit to myself that while I like things outside the normal standard I still wanted my husband to be attractive. "I really do want someone with a exotic appearance, just not too extreme. I want an Alpha male who will challenge me to grow. Someone to encourage me to live my life the way I want to and not the way I am expected to. Someone intimidating as hell but safe and protective. In a way that I do not have to worry in fear that he will turn on me one day but that if need be he could hold his own. I want someone to be the Monster who looks after me."

"There we go! Now we are getting somewhere!" he exclaimed. Clearly happy with the progress. "Do people call you Ana or Lu?"

"Ana," I said without thinking.

"Ana the favored grace..." he said. I was unaware my nickname had such meaning. "Do you like to read?"

"On occasion. I spend most of my time painting or drawing. I want to be an Artist but it's hard."

"Following one's passions often is," he said tilting his head. "How are you with danger?"

"That depends," I said. "I enjoy doing things most people consider dangerous or at least stupid. I do extreme sports when I can. Some of them are rare. Trident is not exactly great for year around snow boarding. I like rock climbing, hang gliding, skydiving, and cliff diving are the main ones. I also do free diving sometimes when migration allows."

He openly stared at me, "I had not expected that. Would you say you are good with the cold?"

"I am not bad with it," I said. "I do not get to experience it very often so I do not know for certain how I would do with it long term."

"So maybe not an Ice Elemental but a Yeti may work for you."

My eye brows shot into my hairline, "Those are real?"

"Absolutely everything exists out there," he told me. I nodded slowly. I would not mind a Yeti. At least not as I had seen them depicted. I do not think I could live being cold all year around though. I was much too used to Trident's year around warmth. Although I liked the idea of a fluffy cuddle buddy.

"Back to your question. If you mean danger as in me putting myself in danger I would prefer not to but I can hold my own in most situations. Well most situations I have been trained for," I amended.

"How do you feel about criminals?" he asked.

That was a shift in topic but I went with it. "Depends on what he did. Most crimes I can forgive but there are some I would have to say hard no to."

He nodded but had no further comments. "You mentioned wanting an Alpha Male. Are you submissive?"

I was gonna get whiplash from all this jumping around. "I am a switch. I am really only submissive... in the bed room so to speak," I blushed. "I have always liked dominate males though."

"Are you high maintenance?" These questioned were getting very pointed. I narrowed my but went along with it.

"No. I have never been rich by any means. I have certainly never had much drive for the so called finer things in life. I am happy as long as I have a warm and safe place to sleep. Oh! And enough food to not be hungry. I do like some of my creature comforts, but I could live without them." I would prefer not to though I added silently.

"Traveling? Often and to out of way places?" Okay these were definitely very pointed questions.

"I would be on board with that. As I said I am an Artist. Seeing new worlds would give me some inspiration to change things and create more. Why these specific questions? Do you have someone in mind?" I asked him. Hope rising in my chest. From my understanding it was very rare for someone to be matched upon the initial interview. I had fully prepared myself to have to make a trip back here at least a few more times.

I think I might have someone who would be a good match for you."

"Really?!" I questioned. "But would I be a good match for him? Wait are you pulling my leg again?" I looked at him with doubt now.

He laughed. His shoulders shook with the movement. "No teasing this time Ana. He has no scales, no horns, and no feathers."

His words were quickly killing my enthusiasm. Still I clung to hope as I asked, "Fur?"

He gave me an apologetic look, "No." My shoulders slumped forward. He snorted at my disappointment. I glared at him. "He is, however, eight feet tall with muscles for days and the strength of ten men. He is very grumpy. Definitely dominant.

My interest rekindled a bit. "Okay..." I said slowly. Wondering briefly if he was once again gonna knock me into depression.

"He has fangs and tusks. Four eyes and six arms. He also has a tail."

"Alright!" I said. I just barely stopped myself rubbing my hands together in anticipation. "Best for last then? I was starting to think you were just gonna keep playing with my emotions."

He chuckled and shook his head. I did not like the mischievous look that over came his feathery face. "Only you can tell me if the last is actually the best."

I stiffened. "Is he slimly? Super smelly?" I eyed him with worry.

He outright laughed at me now. "No slime or mucus. He does take showers. The main thing is males of his species have two tongues and are doubly endowed."

His words hung between us. Without thinking my hand lifted and pointed towards my own crouch. "As in down there?"

He nodded slowly. He made no effort to hide how amused he was. "Is that a problem?" My mind had already been trying to imagine what he would be working with before. At eight feet tall he must have been packing when compared to human men. Even if he was considered small for his people. Knowing there were two cocks to worry about made me a bit hesitant. My dirty mind had been enjoying trying to come up with what he looked like. Both in and out of clothes, but even my dirty mind stopped at the thought of double that equipment.

My fear took a flying leap out the window when Fytin pulled up his 3D image for me though. I felt drool pool in my mouth. I very quickly answered him while trying to shallow back my drool. "I admit that might take some getting used to but I do not think it will be much of a problem. I am sure we can figure it out." I had been very experimental at one point. With some practice I was sure I would have no problems. "When can we meet?"

Fytin raised his hands. "I have to talk to him about you first." Worry slammed into me. There was a very high likely hood he would not find me attractive. I knew for a fact that there were races out there that found Human ugly. Was this one of them? I mean of course Fytin needed to get him on board with marring a Human. Even if other races found us attractive we were not exactly durable. Most Human settlements still had base Humans. Humans that were the same in every way to those who had started on the home world, on Earth.

"Are we a match?" I asked.
