Davis was taken aback by her words, he had at first thought that she was sorry for her actions, but it seemed he was wrong after all, she wasn't sorry at all.
"I won't leave, not until you tell me what sort of drug you took that was powerful enough to energize you in just few minutes." His tone was firm, Calla knew nothing she could say to him would make him leave.
She sighed dejectedly. "The drug isn't in the market yet, I got it a few months ago from my friend who works in a pharmaceutical company, it's a new technology that they are working on. The drug is still under going some tests, that's why it isn't in the market yet." She lied to him.
He eyed her suspiciously. "Since the drug like you said is still under going some tests, don't you think perhaps it is dangerous for you to be taking it when it hasn't been fully tested?."
