"Levi? are you up yet? I really have to pee and your crushing me." She huffed trying to shove Levi's shoulder and arm off of her he had rolled on his tummy pinning her at an odd angle just enough to be inconvenient but not enough to feel uncomfortable.
"Hmm oh yeah sure". He went to move then froze before only lifting his arm up.
"Oh thank goodness" she booked it to go pee.
once out of the room Levi looked down at himself then quickly laid back on his tummy groaning frustrated.
He had fixed this once before he had not had this proublem since he was sixteen years old and now suddenly it decided to happen?
"Morning proublems are the worst." He groaned into the pillow again sounding like a hungry bear.
Vesper stepped out hearing him.
"Someone's hungry." She giggled.
"You have no idea." He bit back the sarcasm in his voice.
"I'll go see if mom's made any breakfast if not I'll make us something." She smiled as she bounced away leaving Levi in the bed as he quietly and muffled began to cuss himself. He finally sighed in defeat as he got up stretching looking for something to where for the day. His stitches ached like no other as he looked in his bag. He took out his medicine and set it on the night table before changing as he got his black jeans on he had just got the button done when he heard Vesper.
"Levi can u help me with the door your not asleep are you?"
He walked over opening the door quickly.
"Sorry Vesper I was getting dressed you were pretty quick.. oh careful."
He caught the plate that nearly tipped over.
"Smells good."
He sniffed it and smiled as he sat on the bed now.
Vesper smiled warmly as she set the food and drinks down.
"I was able to get you coffee too." She said super proudly like coffee was hard to get.
He chuckled and Made sure she got to sit and start eating first as he lifted his fork looking down at the pancakes, eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns he sliced a corner of the cakes and as he set his first bite in his mouth he felt a gut wrenching pain. He sat there withering and forced himself to chew and swallow as he looked at Vesper who was simply eating like normal he set his plate down and took a drink of coffee. He felt starved but it was like the food was poison. He tried to eat something else to his demise it happened again and he began to cough so he chased it with the coffee. Something was horribly wrong with his food it smelled good and tasted good he couldn't figure it out. He set his plate aside barely eaten.
"Is it not good levi?"
"Sorry Vesper it's great I think my stomach is just a little upset." He touched his gut feeling a little woozy as he thought about it. He reached over for his medication but stopped maybe it wasn't a good idea to take it while he felt this way. He thought to himself as he stood up.
"I'm going to finish getting dressed let me know what you would like to do today."
He stood up and Grabbed a simple long sleeve button down in red checks color as he walked downstairs. It was odd of Levi to leave his coffee half drank and to not take his medicine. was it that spooky demon possessing him? she thought as she poked her food no eggs sat on her plate as she had an egg allergy and couldn't eat them she thought hard and long for a moment before something seemed to whisper in the back of her mind. "Oh he's starving alright just he wants something a little more delicate."
Vesper shook the sudden thought out of her head it was so unlike her she now felt horrible for even having such an idea. She finished her food quickly gathering everything up onto the trey afterward and got ready to go into town she was gonna take her mom and Levi shopping while dad made Burgers for dinner and ran a few errands. She came down in long black jeans whering a Burgendy blouse her hair tied in a bun.
"I'm ready to go whose driving?"
"Me." Levi stated
He looked almost like a lumberjack in his attire and his 5 o'clock shadow was starting to pepper through meaning he would shave soon.
The keys jingled as he pressed the button prestarting the car. "Have everything ves?"
"Yes."
"Ready Mrs. Cartwright?"
"Absolutely dear."
She was in light blue jeans her hair down the color matched a lightish brown with white starting to peek in. Her shirts was a thin flowing tank top with little deer on it.
"Shall we?" Levi opened the house door for the girls to step outside. He played the gentleman and opened the doors for girls on the car before getting in himself. They soon were off driving into town.
Once they reached town Levi found a nice spot to park for them to walk around. He helped them out and grabbed his spare umbrella from under the seat so they wouldn't get sunburned.
"Here you are ladies " He passed the red umbrella to them to keep shady.
"Thank you levi." Vesper said smiling.
"What a gentlemen I'd love to meet the woman who raised you."
Levi stopped dead in his tracks.
"I apologize but my mother is dead she died in a very tragic accident. " He stated as Vesper could see the life had left his eyes making it a mentle note not to mention Levi's mom.
"I'm so sorry dear I had no idea!" She hurriedly apologized to Levi.
"It's okay neither of you knew."
His response seemed short but he hurriedly began to walk towered the first shop that was open.
The color drained from his face when he realized it was a women's undergarments shop one for night time activities.
"We can skip this if you want Levi. " Vesper said carefully.
"I walked us in here I need to commit. " He said pale as ever.
"Please enjoy shopping you two." He smiled polightly towered Vesper and her mother who had a spark in her eyes as she drug the daughter off into the isles of attire he noticed a young man with blonde hair in a suit chasing after them with a smile. He must be the attendant here.
"Hello Lovlies I'm Alex I'm the shop manager what can I assist you with today. " Levi eavesdropping as he took the girls to the back to change finding items they enjoyed or were comfortable fitting for there physic. Levi simply closed his eyes leaning against the wall. He was startled when Vesper suddenly said in front of him. "We're ready to go Levi. Were you sleeping?"
"I think I may have just been lost in thought." He lied cause he had fallen asleep.
"Let's go then next stop." Levi ignored the bag in vespers hands it was her private stuff, something at the back of Levi's mind poked him with curiosity though.
The next shop was one for accessories and collectors items namely fun gaming items and fan based items. Levi roamed as Vesper jumped on all the spooky season items like a little kid. Levi found himself looking at some of the cheesy costume jewelry for both men and women solely out of bordem he found a set of matching bell collars and decided to buy them to pick on Vesper later.
They shopped around awhile, Vesper made him buy clothes and they had lunch at a small diner Levi looked out the window mostly letting the women talk as he gazed he swore he saw something shifting in the trees off in the distance he only stopped when Vesper tugged his arm.
"Levi, earth to Levi hello~" she teased as he seemed to be in his own little world.
"Hmm?"
He kept his response short as he didn't have much interest in food nor was he really hungry.
"Share an ice cream with me Levi please?" she asked sweetly he knew instantly this was apart of the act.
"Of course you don't have to ask me any flavor you like isn't as sweet as you." He said it and felt really tacky afterward as he placed his arm around her and on her waist he could see her blush as she swatted his chest like a fly.
"Levi don't embarrassed me."
Her mother was smiling sweetly. Vesper quickly stopped once the Waiter arrived and she gave him her order and Levi yawned.
"Oh my goodness!" Kim exclaimed when Levi yawned.
"What is everything okay?" He asked tilting his head slightly. Vesper now looked concerned as her ice cream arrived.
"Oh its nothing Im just surprised how long your canines are I've never met a man who yawned like such a snake."
Levi was taken aback by this he had never really noticed it before maybe it was just a bad angle for his yawn he looked over at Vesper who shrugged confused.
Vesper curiosity peeked at this. she scooped a spoonful of the hot fudge ice cream and held it up to Levi. "Say ah."
Levi's cheeks turned a slight shade of punk to this action no one had fed him like this before he felt lightly embarrassed. He opened his mouth wide. "Ah." He said as the spoon touched his tounge. He bit down it was sweet but it was a weak sweet he could handle it better then breakfast.
Vesper was surprised at his blush but more surprised that his teeth truly looked longer then a humans. She never pried into it much, Levi also was never one to go opening his mouth making himself vulnerable to judgement often. They may have just discovered the perfect man's flaw.
Levi drove home subconscious of his teeth now wondering if he should see a dentist now.
