Chapter 7 - Master!

The day seemed like a night, cascaded by dark clouds and falling rain. The forest beach looked like an ominously dark place. Mang Ra looked around, his face ruthlessly focused as his eyes roamed.

The cold droplets of rain blasted on his face, right on the point where the wound in his cheek hurt, as Mang Ra looked around. His mud-stained and torn martial robes were battered by the wind, which caused them to flap and flutter intensely. Looking up at the dark clouds and the ominous rain blasting onto the lands, he yelled, "Haul the oars to the beach!" his voice boomed, carrying the weight of ultimate hatred, "No Wuma or beast dares venture near!"

A thunder reverberated in the lands, fleeting lightning illuminated the dark scene, brightened in the light, Mang Ra's Tribal totems dimly lit up, the ring of mountains on his legs brightened briefly as his left hand clenched infront of his face.

TAKNNG!!!

An arrow abruptly got caught in his hands and vibrated vigorously. Clenching his hands tighter, it broke apart. He said in a voice as vicious as a venomous snake, his suppressed hate seeping right through his skin, "You Mongrel wretches shall pay, Each and every one of you, you dirty scum, all of you shall pay…My sister's death shall be paid with the blood of all of the people of your tribe, from children, man, and beast. I shall let no single thing breathe tonight. I will kill you all as agonizingly as I can!"

Whoosh!

Another arrow came from the right; Mang Ra's totem on the left hand flickered. He abruptly moved it infront of his face, yet, it was too late. Another arrow left a mark on him. This time on his neck, the arrow passed by and stuck itself on a tree.

Blood dripped from the side of his neck as he panicked and looked back for support.

For another one to heal him with their sacrifice.

Yet, what he saw instead was a burning ship, its sails falling down in tears and parts, its glowing, alit pieces floating in the air.

"What, have you stopped your rant?" came an abrupt voice from the front. His face slackened and shifted back, yet no one was there. Thunder rumbled!

The world brightened for a second

A fair hand clenched his neck from the back; he shivered as he tried to make his totems blink and waved his hand to the back, yet still, nothing was there. Just the big trees and the dark rainforest atmosphere.

Flup! He heard the sound of someone running above a puddle, and his nerves tightened as he waited for impact, all three of his totems shining in a dark blue.

His lips cracked, and blood dripped down from his mouth, "Ho..how…" he muttered as his mouth filled with blood.

A languid voice came from the side, filled with a sense of disdain, "A fool knows not the tricks of a master."

Mang Ra's world darkened, lightning sizzled, his totems constricted, and an unbearably hot resonance came out from deep inside him as he looked up at the sky. A drop of rain fell on his face… right where it hurt.

He transformed into drifting ash…just like his sister, crew, and ship had

Burned to a crisp.

Step, step, step

The sound of someone walking on top of water resounded as a man wearing a bamboo hat walked to the place he died and looked down. Where were the world beads? The person wondered.

An arrow silently pierced his heart; his mouth filled with blood as he looked behind him; Mang Ra indifferently kicked him in the back, and he stumbled into a puddle of dirty water. Blood soon filled the puddle as he looked at the falling rain, and the standing silhouette brightened by the flashing lightning, "How?" he asked, his mouth leaking blood.

A flicker of lightning illuminated the face of a smiling Mang Ra, his white face smeared in blood, his wounded cheeks tumbling with rain water, "Master—"

The Man died.

Mang Ra squinted his blue eyes, "Already dead?"

He focused more clearly. A mole started to become visible on the dead man's forehead.

Little, yet deeply meaningful…

Mang Ra pointed his palm at the man's corpse and said with a sanctimonious smile, his gaze elsewhere, "May the gods bless you with good fortune!"

A flashing lightning illuminated his burning blue eyes, focused on a place some hundreds of miles away, cutting through the restraints of space. The next one…should be there, inside the infamous Everhart villa.

He licked his lips.

Two Bows fell from above a tree; the sound of them hitting multiple branches as they fell made Ra indifferently walk towards the man's corpse and tilt his head.

Keh, The world bead…he chuckled and then took the bamboo hat on the side, placing it above his head; he walked towards the Everhart Villa. At this pace, it should just take two days at most…

As for the world bead?

He left that for the beasts…They killed the underlings for him, after all.
