Theodore closed his eyes only for the image of Georgia avoiding his gaze earlier to appear in his head. He then asked himself why she was still even in his house. She was only making him lose his mind.
Georgia was messing with him mentally and sexually. If only she had accepted him earlier when he held her, he'd have fucked her the way he did in his head.
"She didn't mean it, you know," Tyler uttered, referring to Georgia's statement about hating her Alpha.
"And I don't care, Tyler. I don't care about her feelings towards me."
"You can deny it to yourself and me but we know deep down that she has a lot of effects on you and that you can't stop wanting her. You've found her after so many years and you want her to go just like that?"
"I have to, Tyler. For the sake of the pack and to save myself from falling deeper in love with any woman. Don't you know what happened to my parents? I can't let that affect our pack again. She's a weak wolf and she'd only infect me with her weakness. And I still don't know why she's still around me," Theodore's mood seemed to be rotten.
"You don't seem to like to listen to me. You'll grow weak if you don't connect with her. She's your other half!!"
"And have been ruling the park for eight years without her, Tyler. Tell me, what do I need her for? How would she make me stronger?"
"For now you don't know but I hope you don't regret your actions someday. She is here now but the more you push her away, the farther she gets from you and then you will realize what I'm telling you now. It just hurts because your stupid action affects me so much. I can't connect or feel my mate because of you!"
Theodore ignored his wolf and focused on enjoying his bath but just couldn't get Georgia out of his mind. This had never happened to him. The state of being in thoughts about just one woman who wasn't even strong enough to be called his Luna.
Georgia walked into the kitchen and kicked the cabinet in anger. Why was she so unfortunate to be with such a cruel man?
Theodore didn't even consider that her son was waiting for her. All he cared for was himself and nobody else. Or maybe he cared about others but didn't care about her.
Georgia fumed for a while before searching the kitchen for something to cook for the Alpha. She looked around to find nothing but noodles. Then she checked the refrigerator to see that it was full of snacks.
What does he eat? Georgia looked in the direction of his room, wondering why he ate a lot of snacks. She couldn't find any food items so he probably ate nothing but snacks and raw noodles.
Georgia, now feeling sorry for her Alpha even though she was curious about why he didn't eat good food, decided to cook the noodles with so much care.
Georgia, fortunately, saw eggs and decided to make something special out of them. After spending close to 30 minutes in the kitchen, she finished up and added some vegetables on top of the noodles to make the meal more attractive.
In front of the kitchen was a dining table, so she went to place the dishes on the table and proceeded to search for a wine that went well with the meal.
When she was searching the refrigerator for something better, Theodore entered the scene, already perceiving the aroma of what she cooked.
When he saw the hot meal on the table, he found himself smiling and went to sit. Georgia showed up with the perfect wine and filled his glass with it before sitting across from him.
The table was surrounded by only four chairs. He seemed to be the kind of person that hated people's company.
"I realized that this was the only meal I could cook in your kitchen," Georgia said, signaling to him to start eating. "I also cooked the eggs differently. I hope you like it, Alpha," Georgia did that magic in his heart again but it wasn't to cause pain.
Theodore looked into her eyes and she smiled at him as if nothing happened earlier. She easily forgives and forgets.
"And what if it's not nice?" Theodore questioned.
"I'll let you have me for the night since that's what you wanted," Georgia found herself blurting nonsense out while inwardly, she was cursing herself.
"And why would you think that I wanted you?"
"You were…you were touching your groin and your eyes were like this," she demonstrated his expression and laughed because she must surely suck at seducing someone with her expression.
Tyler teased Theodore because as much as he wanted to laugh along with her, he just didn't because he did not want to give her the belief that he was trying to associate more with her.
He looked away and hid his smile. She was cute, yes, he admitted that to himself this time.
"Alpha, you should eat. Noodles tend to get cold easily and once cold, the taste disappears. Please rate my cooking, Alpha," she demanded.
Quietly, he picked up the spoon and fork, used them to transport his food to his mouth, and then sliced the egg, adding it into his mouth before chewing.
Theodore hadn't swallowed yet but his stomach seemed to be excited to receive such a delicious meal. This was madly delicious!!
He was impressed and wanted to shove everything into his mouth at once because the moment he tasted the noodles hot, he suddenly became hungrier.
However, he tried his best not to express his delight. She'd feel too excited to see that he loved her food.
"Will you really let me take you to my bed if this doesn't taste nice?" Theodore asked with a soft tone, signaling to Georgia that she succeeded in satisfying his belly.
"I guess so but I believe that I didn't cook a tasteless meal," Georgia answered him with a smile.
Theodore ignored her and decided to focus on his meal. He also loved the way she sat with him and watched him as he ate. He just liked her being around him. It makes him feel settled.
"Alpha," Georgia called, offering him the wine.
Theodore accepted it and drank it to his heart's satisfaction. 'Stop doing this Georgia, I'm going crazy' he screamed in his head.
The next moment, he leaned on the chair, feeling full and content. Her meal made him sleepy as well, causing him to wonder if she spiked his food.
"Did you add something like sleeping pills to my meal?" Theodore asked, suspicious of her.
"That's how good food is. It makes you sleepy. I'm glad you liked my food, Alpha," taking the dishes, she said and went straight to the kitchen to wash them.
When Georgia finished up, she found her Alpha drinking the wine. "May I leave now?" She asked.
Theodore didn't want Georgia to leave but it was getting late and she needed to tend to her son. Theodore stood up and left her sight.
This made Georgia sad and worried. She looked around for the wall clock to see that the time was a few minutes after eleven. It was getting late and it was almost midnight.
Georgia decided to sit because she concluded that the Alpha wouldn't let her leave until tomorrow but then he appeared and tossed something her way.
Georgia being alert caught it and smiled because it was almost impossible but she did it. In her hands was a car key. Georgia looked at the Alpha who was now seated before her.
"It's late already so you can use one of my cars home. Make sure you take care of your son. I only let you go because of him and not because I wanted you to."
Georgia's lips slowly curled into a smile and she blushed. "Thank you so much, Alpha! I'll take my leave now!" With that, she left the premises, leaving the Alpha all alone again.
But was he nice even though he was crazy?
