Georgia glanced at Theodore once more and went back to him as her wolf instructed her to. She stood by his side and mentioned his name softly. "Alpha Theodore?" She sought his attention.
Theodore looked up at her with an askance expression. "Is there anything else, Georgia?"
"I can make breakfast for you every morning and deliver it to your office myself if you want." It was just a suggestion.
Theodore stayed quiet for a while as if considering her offer but then he refused. "I don't need your food," he answered. "You may leave now, Miss Wise," he spoke to her professionally this time.
"Alright, it's your choice but if you have a change of heart. I am willing to cook for you as I do for my son," Georgia tempted him more before walking out of the living room and approaching the stairs.
After struggling to get to the top of the stairs, she turned around and waved at him. "Have a good night, Alpha. Sweet dreams!" Georgia yelled as she thought he wouldn't hear her if she didn't yell.
Theodore chuckled when she left and went to check the CCTV camera of his parking lot. He wanted to know how she was doing. Did she find the car?
To his surprise, she didn't have to press any button to know which car he gave her. She just went straight to the car and started it. He watched her drive out of his house and sighed.
Theodore went to his room and fell on his bed, strangely thinking about how cute and kind Georgia was. He tortured her but she still smiled at him even though she said that she was starting to hate him.
The feeling he was trying to avoid kept on filling his heart and it was because he was letting her affect him. It has to stop!
Georgia arrived home just in time. Jonathan had woken up because he was hungry and when he searched for his mother and didn't find her, he began to cry again. That was when Georgia opened the door to see her son struggling with Emily and shouting 'Mommy'.
"Mommy!!" His nose and his face were red from crying. She could tell that he must be having a headache.
"Mommy's here, Jonathan. Mommy's here," dropping the car key in her bag, Georgia stooped to her knees to hug her son.
"Mommy," his loud voice reduced as he hugged his mother back. "Mommy," he continued to call her and then she carried him.
"I'm really sorry, Emily. I'm sorry for putting you through this," Georgia apologized but Emily seemed to be okay.
"I understand, don't worry. He refused to eat what I cooked so I think you should make him another meal. He needs to sleep as well," Emily said from her observation and left the living room to check on her daughter.
Georgia looked at her son who had stopped crying. "Are you okay?" She asked, stroking his hair.
"Mommy, I miss you," Jonathan said.
"I missed you so much. Mommy is sorry for coming late," Georgia's hands were still caressing his head. Jonathan rested his head on his mother's shoulder with the look she understood so well.
He was hungry and sleepy. Georgia took him to the kitchen with her and cooked something delicious for her son and herself. While the food was cooking, Georgia handed her son a snack before taking him to her room.
She needed to freshen up as well. It seemed like Emily was able to bathe her son after he returned from the nursery.
Georgia fed herself and her son and afterward, they fell asleep in her bed.
… …
At this moment, the new Georgia was already walking around the beach, recalling some moments the previous Georgia spent with Theodore after she joined his company.
Georgia lifted her gown and walked into the water, feeling refreshed. It was cold so she jerked out of the water and returned, playing like a child. She made the right decision by coming to the beach to get her sanity back.
Although she was thinking about Theodore; the cause of her current mood, she was still able to break off the sadness consuming her heart because of him.
Theodore stopped his car and climbed out only to place his hand on the rails by the road, watching his mate walk about the beach. He wondered what was going on in her mind.
"What do you think she's up to?" Tyler asked him.
"I don't know, I'm wondering where the Alpha is," he looked around but she seemed to be alone.
"I feel bad for her. She watched you hang out with different ladies but when she tried to do the same you seemed to be in the way. Aren't you cruel to treat her so unjustly?"
"Shut up, Tyler!" Theodore, feeling guilty, had to shut his wolf up. "I don't care if she sleeps with another man!"
"But you literally dragged her away from him earlier. I told you that this was coming. Another man will treasure her and it would be too late for you," Tyler's declaration didn't seem to affect Theodore because the Alpha believed that he'd never regret pushing her away.
Theodore recalled the night Georgia cooked for him. After that night, he didn't set his eyes on her for a week because he had to visit Italy to celebrate an award-winning CEO.
When Theodore returned, he went to a bar to get his mind off a few things and there he met a sexy chick. She was a college human student who needed money and to her luck that night, she met a powerful wolf.
However, the Alpha was too drunk to drive himself home after the hot experience he had with the female human. He remembered that his so-called mate was a chauffeur so he texted his location to his beta, instructing him on what to do.
While waiting for Georgia, Theodore drank more alcohol, causing him to lose his sanity. And when Georgia arrived, she had to spend almost fifteen minutes searching for the Alpha.
When she eventually found him, he was asleep on the couch he was sitting on.
Georgia sighed. After spending the whole day tolerating rude, kind, and demanding customers, she had to end her day enduring her boss's childishness again. Why?!
