Breakfast went well as usual. Emily had mentioned that she was going shopping with Georgia while eating. She also announced that her daughter would be coming along.
Hence, Georgia concluded that she'd take her son with her as well since she'd gone the whole night.
Georgia was outside the house with her son, waiting for Emily to join them. After spending a few minutes outside, Emily arrived with her daughter.
They all settled in Emily's car and left the premises.
Georgia made sure to use the opportunity to spend time with her son. She got him some clothes and performed some events with him that happened to be in the mall.
Time passed by and the shopping ended after taking a few hours of their time but it was enjoyable and fulfilling.
When they all reached home, dusk had already covered the city. Georgia suddenly felt like she'd be late for the event because she was supposed to be there with the beta at 7 p.m.
But then, Georgia recalled that she shouldn't let Theodore control her. She would do what she wanted.
The beta was already prepared when the group who went shopping entered the house.

Georgia thought. She was standing by the entrance with her son resting in her arms.
The beta was wealthy and had mansions and a few businesses under his name. He was independent but because of his role as the beta, Daniel had to stay closer to Theodore and since Theodore didn't have an assistant, he took the job of being his assistant.
The bar where the beta was sitting was located in the corner of the living room that was equipped with luxury with the furniture glowing in richness. Everything was so fine!
Georgia walked close to Daniel, maintaining the balance of her son's body on her shoulder. Although she wasn't the same Georgia, she believed that she shouldn't make it so obvious to everyone so Georgia approached Daniel.
"I'm sorry for taking too long, Beta. I'll be ready in 30 minutes! Please spare me some time," Georgia didn't know why she sounded a bit formal but she learned that it was in this manner the old Georgia converse with the beta.
"This is the nth time I'm telling you this, Georgia. Consider me a friend rather than a beta. You don't need to be too careful around me," Daniel's remarks reminded Georgia that the previous host of the body still felt indebted to the beta but now that she was a different Georgia, she'd act the way she wanted to.
"Of course," with a grin, Georgia agreed and walked away to locate her room. Her shopping bags were already handled by the servants.
When Georgia reached her room, she placed her son gently on the bed and kissed his lips. He looked so cute that she couldn't resist kissing him. She had a son in this life and he happened to be her only source of happiness and comfort.
"Mommy will get ready now, so wake up before I finish up. Mommy wants to see your lovely face before she leaves," Georgia whispered.
With that, she walked into the bathroom and used the shower because she believed that she'd fall asleep in the bathtub.
It was too comfortable and she was weary, hence, she had to avoid things that would trigger her to fall asleep.
After bathing, Georgia rubbed every skincare she purchased for better glowing skin on every part of her body and dressed up.
"I'm so happy to see Theodore today," Garcia's remarks reached Georgia when she was sitting in front of the mirror wearing makeup.
Georgia remembered how makeup was done in 2022 so she used that method, aiming to murder Theodore with her unexpected appearance. But unfortunately, he'd only see her but wouldn't be able to have her.
Theodore had always called her ugly and old-fashioned and even once said she looked so older than her age just like how his dead grandmother looked.
Those words had hurt Georgia so much that it felt as if a knife had gone through her heart. But the previous Georgia would only smile like a fool.
'Not any more'
"What are you planning, Garcia? Please don't do it. I won't accept it!" Garcia could tell what Georgia's plan was with all the changes she made on her face and body.
Georgia frowned. "Please Garcia, I want to show our mate that I'm beautiful and that we can always be treated better by other men if he doesn't appreciate us," she shrugged.
"But it's not right," Garcia growled. She seemed weak. And this feeling Garcia was overwhelmed with, affected Georgia in a way.
'So this is what it feels like to be so attached and affected by one's wolf' Georgia thought, understanding her new environment.
To live a good life she had to forget her past and put in so much effort in making this life better so Georgia had to endure some changes that were so weird to her.
"It hurts every time he doesn't feel impressed by me but he does when he sees those naked girls. You don't know how much I despise him. I want to hurt him just as he did to me," Georgia uttered, trying to reason with her wolf.
"Please Garcia, let's do this. I know you can't stand seeing your mate far from us but he keeps making himself and his wolf stay away from us. I know we shouldn't do the same but I'm tired of getting hurt."
Garcia growled again, "But I want him."
Georgia stayed quiet and continued wearing makeup. She finished off by making her lips bluer with royal blue lipstick. She kissed her lips and smiled.
Georgia had styled her hair before arriving home so she was ready. Jonathan didn't wake up so Georgia went and kissed his forehead, wiped the lipstick off his head, and whispered; "Good night, my son, I love you," to her son.
Georgia wore her high heels, grabbed her small handbag, and glanced at her image in the full-length mirror. A smile curled on Georgia's lips when she saw her appearance.
"You look stunning," Garcia said.
"Thank you! Oh, our mate shall drool tonight!"
With that, Georgia left the room and went straight to the living room. "Our beta!" Georgia exclaimed. "I'm ready, let's hurry, it's almost 7."
Emily was with her husband in the bar when Georgia showed up.
And when Emily set her eyes on Georgia, her jaws dropped and she stood up from the stool, walking close to Georgia. "You look…more than…you are gorgeous, baby girl!! You must be going there to steal the spotlight from the celebrant. This is a crime!!"
Emily was astonished, causing her exaggeration. "Honey!" She turned to her husband to know his thoughts. "Isn't she beautiful? I want to wear my makeup this way, it's magical," Emily grinned.
"Thank you, Emily. Now I feel extra beautiful," George replied.
"Oh, you are. Where did you learn to wear makeup to be this gorgeous?"
"I saw it in my dream," Georgia laughed. "I just put them together," she lied.
"You must teach me," Emily demanded, "I need to seduce my man too," she glanced at Daniel.
Daniel just smiled. "You know I love you just the…"
"Really?" Emily faced her husband and they began to discuss their personal matters.
Georgia had to excuse them because it was personal and she didn't want to be involved.
Eventually, Daniel joined her outside only for his car to park right in front of them. The chauffeur climbed out of the car and opened the door for Daniel and Georgia.
Emily had insisted not to go along with them. She wanted to stay with her child so Georgia had requested that Emily also look after her son. Emily agreed without hesitation.
The car drove them out of the building. The journey to the venue took more than an hour but even when they were late, Georgia didn't panic. She was so relaxed.
"I must say this, Georgia, you are looking exceptionally gorgeous tonight." After climbing out of the car and walking on the carpet to the entrance, Daniel said to the lady walking beside him.
"Thank you," Georgia answered him.
Knowing that she'd soon see her mate, Georgia felt her wolf growling. "Garcia?"
"Theodore," Garcia snarled. "He's close," she uttered.
The party was the wedding anniversary of a business associate and they were VIPs among the guests so Alpha had to be present. He couldn't go alone, so he compelled Daniel to come with him.
But when Theodore set his eyes on his mate who was on her way home, he demanded that she attend the party at all costs and here she was, walking elegantly into the hall.
Georgia could feel eyes on her as she walked past some people to find a space to settle on.
And at that moment, when men were murmuring about her, Theodore happened to hear about the gorgeous lady walking in.
He looked in her direction, curious about how attractive she was to steal most people's attention and there she was, twinkling like the moon in the dark sky but he just needed to see her face.
When Theodore finally caught a glimpse of the attractive lady his jaws dropped to learn that the lady was his…mate.
