Chapter 27 - Clearing the Hell Difficulty Region Dungeon

The frost-laden air crackled with tension as Arthur faced a new wave of monsters. Among them, towering over the rest, were the Glacial Golems – the Elite Monsters of this Frozen Abyss. These elite monsters were more formidable, boasting a combination of strength, skill, and resilience that set them apart from the normal monsters.

Arthur's stance shifted, his blade poised for action. He knew that this battle would require a higher level of focus and finesse. Unlike the normal monsters, the elite monsters also were more intelligent that made them formidable opponents.

However, before he engaged in battle, he took the time to open the system and opened his Personal Information.

[Personal Information]

[Name: Arthur]

[Title: Lord of Dawn Light Village, One-man Army]

[Territory: Dawn Light Village]

[Lord Talent: Persuasion (Legendary-Grade)]

[Strength: White-High Tier]

[Skill: none]

[EXP: 10.235]

Arthur now had a smile on his face when he saw that he had accumulated over ten thousand experience right after clearing the first wave of monsters in this dungeon. However, for Arthur who was still at White-High Tier, it would be difficult for him to deal with the current wave because those monsters possessed Blue-Tier strength. Thus, he needed to raise his current strength level, so that his strength would not be much different from that of monsters.

[Strength: White-High Tier -> Blue-Low Tier]

[Cost: 5000 EXP, Upgrade Strength? (Y/N)]

`Yes!`

~ding

[Congratulations, your strength has risen to Blue-Low Tier]

The surge of power coursed through him, and he felt his body growing stronger as blue energy radiated from his body, attaining Low-Blue Grade Strength.

Arthur closed the system and readied his stance to fight the monsters. Soon, he saw that the monsters had started hurtling towards him.

~Clank, Clank

The clash of steel against icy chitin resounded with a cacophony of sound. Frostclaw Scavengers lunged with feral determination, their sharp claws slashing through the air. Arthur parried their attacks with precision, his blade humming with each impact.

Arthur's sword slashed with an almost preternatural grace, striking down Frostclaw Scavengers with deadly precision.

~Bam!

~Clank

Each swing of his blade was punctuated by the sound of impact as metal met flesh, and as blade deflected the icy claws.

~Stomp, Stomp, Stomp

But the onslaught was far from over. Emerging from the hordes were the Elite Monsters – the Glacial Golems. These towering colossi moved with a ponderous but deliberate grace, the stomp of their steps reverberating through the air. With gleaming eyes that promised icy destruction, the Golems lumbered toward Arthur, their intent clear.

"Whoosh!"

As the first Glacial Golem approached, Arthur's stance shifted. His movements became fluid, every twist of his body accompanied by a sound of air as he deftly sidestepped the Golem's colossal fist.

~Swoosh! Swoosh!

In retaliation, he swung his blade in a wide arc, the sound of steel slicing through the air.

~Clang! Clang! Clang!

His strikes were met with a cacophony of clashing sounds as his blade collided with the Golem's icy armor.

~Thud!

But the Golem was relentless, its own strikes accompanied by the earth-shaking sound of massive fists slamming into the ground.

Amidst the clash of steel and stone, Arthur's senses remained heightened. He maneuvered skillfully, his feet carrying him in a swift dance around the Golem's towering form.

~Swish! Swish!

Each movement was fast, his blade singing through the air as he delivered a flurry of blows to the Golem's joints.

Yet, the Glacial Golem was not just brute force. Its eyes glowed with an unnatural light as it unleashed a powerful skill – a freezing shockwave that emanated outward.

~Boom!, Whirl!

The sound of the shockwave was accompanied by an eerie whirl sound as icy energy spiraled toward Arthur.

~Thud

"Arrgh" Arthur gritted his teeth as one of the attacks managed to hit him.

Despite his skillful evasion, a glancing hit caught him off guard. The impact was followed by a gasp of pain as frost began to form on his clothes. Pushed back by the force of the attack, he stumbled, his boots sliding on the icy ground. It was a rare moment of vulnerability, his breath coming in ragged gasps as he fought to regain his footing.

With a determined growl, he knew he needed to turn the tide of battle in his favor. His hand tightened around the hilt of his sword as he assessed the situation.

~"Whoosh!"

Then, like a storm unleashed, Arthur's eyes flashed with a fierce determination. In the midst of the battlefield, with an almost supernatural swiftness, he darted forward, his boots leaving a trail of snow in his wake.

The Frostclaw Scavengers and Glacial Golems alike were caught off guard by his sudden burst of speed.

~Clang! Clang! Clang!

The metallic ring of his blade echoed through the air. Arthur's strikes were relentless, each one delivered with unparalleled precision and strength.

~Boom

With a swift spin, he dodged a Glacial Golem's powerful fist, the sound of impact causing the ground to tremble.

~Swoosh! Swish! Clank!

His movements were fluid and graceful, his body flowing like water as he avoided attacks and delivered his own.

~Roar

And then, with a thunderous roar that seemed to shake the very heavens, Arthur activated his Title's special skill – [The One-Man Army]. In an instant, he became a blur of motion, his form almost indistinguishable as he blurred between enemies. His strength, endurance, mentality, and reflexes surged as if amplified by an otherworldly force.

~Bam! Bam! Boom! Clang! Swoosh!

The onslaught was relentless, a symphony of destruction that resonated through the battlefield as Arthur's strikes were lightning-fast, his every movement calculated and precise. The Frostclaw Scavengers fell in quick succession, their icy forms shattered by his blade.

Even the Glacial Golems, imposing as they were, couldn't withstand his assault.

~Clank! Clang! Clang!

The sound of steel meeting ice echoed through the air as Arthur's blade seemed to dance with a life of its own as it found weaknesses in the Golems' armor.

~Boom! Bam! Clang! Swoosh!

For thirty minutes, Arthur was a whirlwind of destruction, a force to be reckoned with. His movements were a blur of speed and power as he annihilates hundreds of monsters, his every strike could take down several monsters in an instant. The battlefield was transformed into a chaotic symphony of sounds.

As the skill's effect began to wane, Arthur's breathing was heavy, his body drenched in sweat despite the icy surroundings. He stood amidst a field of defeated monsters, his chest rising and falling with exertion. The battle had taken its toll, but his victory was undeniable. The Frostclaw Scavengers and Glacial Golems lay defeated.

Soon, a notification appeared on his system.

With a burst of light, Arthur found himself back in front of the Village Hall.

[Accumulating Rewards...]

[Clearence Reward: +10,000 Region EXP]

[Perfect-Clearence Reward: +10,000 Region EXP, Elite-Treasure Chest]

[EXP: +10,000 EXP]

Arthur's eyes widened with anticipation when he saw his reward. If he remembered correctly, Region EXP should be the way to level up a region. However, he currently couldn't see how much more experience it would take to upgrade the grade of the Icemoor Region because he had yet to receive the Icemoor's Region Token.

As it was already late at night, Arthur was completely exhausted by the time he finished the daily dungeon attempt. He immediately entered the Village Hall to find a place to rest. The meeting earlier seemed to have ended as he saw no one at the Village Hall.

His steps were heavy as he moved across the hall, the events of the day finally catching up to him. The weight of his body seemed to increase with each step, and he felt a dull ache in his muscles that spoke of the intensity of the battle. As he ascended the stairs to his room, Arthur's thoughts began to drift.

The bed in his chambers seemed like a distant haven, promising rest and respite. With a sigh of relief, he changed his clothes. Once he was done, he collapsed onto the bed, the softness of the mattress a welcome sensation against his weary body.

...

As the morning sun illuminates the warm Dawn Light Village, Arthur wakes up and begins his daily routine as a lord. He walked over to the Summoning Gate, ready to summon his new subjects.

[Summoning subjects...]

Arthur activated the gate and summoned five non-class subjects, again. he couldn't imagine his luck to be so bad that out of all the ones he summoned, there wasn't a single person with a profession.

`how come 3 days in a row and I couldn't summon a single person who has a profession?` he muttered to himself.

Just as he was about to dismiss the summoned subjects, a voice from behind him caught his attention. Turning around, he was met with the sight of Elara, his Advisor, approaching with an unusually bright and eager expression.

"Good morning, My lord," she greeted with a cheerful tone.

"Morning" he replied, the corners of his lips lifting in a small smile. Her energy was contagious, managing to lighten his mood even in the face of his disappointing summoning results.

Elara's eyes sparkled as she spoke. "My Lord. There's a man outside the village gates, claiming he wants to become your subject."

Arthur's interest was piqued. A man who wanted to join his village directly was a rare occurrence. "Really? Who is he?"
