When Aldora saw that the situation was turning in her favor, she sneered. "It's too late for you to escape. They were the Second Battalion of Moon Frost City, consisting of over 1000 elven soldiers. Me and my 200 elves are just the Front-Line Division of the Second Battalion."
The tension in the air was palpable as Aldora stared at Arthur and Mor'kith with disdain,
Amidst the tension, Mor'kith couldn't help but express his disappointment in himself. "I... I have failed you, my Lord," he stammered, his eyes filled with regret. "I have failed to bring the absolute victory you desired."
Hearing this, Aldora couldn't resist the opportunity to mock Mor'kith "Oh, look at you," she sneered, looking down at Mor'kith with disdain. "You were so proud of your little victory earlier, and yet here you are now.... how pitiful."
Mor'kith gritted his teeth.
Arthur however, instead of displaying anger or pity, Arthur smiled warmly at Mor'kith. "Mor'kith, you have proved yourself worthy as my general." he reassured, placing a reassuring hand on Mor'kith's shoulder. "You fought valiantly, and you held your ground against an overwhelming force. I am proud to have you as my General."
His encouraging words seemed to lift Mor'kith's spirits, and he nodded. "Thank you, my Lord. I won't let you down again," he vowed, his resolve strengthened.
"Now," Arthur continued, his eyes filled with determination, "it's my turn as Dawn Light's Lord to prove my worth. Just sit down and watch."
Aldora's laughter echoed through the clearing, taunting him. "You? How amusing," she scoffed, glancing at Arthur with a mocking grin. "And what makes you think you could handle a battalion with over one thousand soldiers? Besides, I also know that you must be a new Lord who has just arrived in this world."
Arthur just glanced at Aldora before walking past her in a calm manner. He already knew that the natives of the Main Plane must have been aware of the sudden appearance of Travelers and Lords nearby. Thus, it wouldn't be too surprising for him if they realized that he was a newcomer Lord from another world.
Aldora smirked, "You look so calm for someone whose territory is about to be overrun by our Second Battalion of Moon Frost City, don't you think?"
Arthur remained composed, his expression unfazed by her taunts. "You speak of the Second Battalion as if they are an unbeatable force," he replied calmly. "But they are merely mortals, just like the ones I've faced before. Numbers alone do not guarantee victory, just like your division."
The malicious smile on Arthur's face caught Aldora off guard. "What are you smiling about?" she demanded, her confidence wavering.
Arthur's eyes glinted with vicious intention. "I see an opportunity," he replied, his voice low but filled with conviction. "With over a thousand elves approaching, the battlefield will be shrouded in chaos."
Confusion flickered in Aldora's eyes as she tried to comprehend his words. "Chaos? What are you talking about?"
A knowing smirk tugged at Arthur's lips. "In chaos, individuals stand out," he explained cryptically. "And those who stand out become targets." then he added. "You may still lie there quietly and watch."
Before Aldora could respond, Arthur turned to his allies, his voice strong and commanding. "Prepare yourselves for battle," he declared. "Stay vigilant. We might be outnumbered, but we will not be outmaneuvered."
As the Second Battalion of Moon Frost City drew closer, Arthur's allies took their positions, ready to face the oncoming storm. Despite the overwhelming odds, their determination remained unyielding.
Aldora watched in confusion, `What was this Village Lord up to? how come he's so confident to fight against more than 1000 troops with just his small army which doesn't even reach a hundred?`
Meanwhile, As Arthur surveyed the critical situation. His mind raced as he recalled Elara's Divination, about being careful in this battle. Thankfully for Elara's Divination, his sharp instincts that had been honed over thousands of years were put to good use as he had yet to use his Talent Ability!
With a sense of urgency, Arthur opened his Personal Information System.

[Personal Information]
[Name: Arthur]
[Title: Lord of Dawn Light Village]
[Territory: Dawn Light Village]
[Lord Talent: Persuasion (Legendary-Grade)]
[Strength: White-Low Tier]
[Skill: none]
[EXP: 3.635]
...
EXP or Experience on the Main Plane had various uses, as such it could be stored so one could choose to use it to raise the Strength Tier, or Skill Tier. There are also cases where it is necessary to imbue artifacts.
Arthur saw that he had accumulated around 3,635 EXP in the past three days since arriving on the Main Plane. Most of his EXP came from the rewards of completing the Lord Mission yesterday, and from the EXP dropped by the elves he and his army killed.
The reason why he focused on his amount of EXP was because he needed it to increase his strength in order to stand a chance against the approaching elf army.
A battalion of a city was a powerful force that would at least have a Commander with Yellow-Tier Strength and on average their soldiers consisted with mostly White-Tier Strength and Blue-Tier Strength.
For Arthur who was still at White-Low Tier, it would make his talent not work effectively. Because, as the strength gap was too big, his base chance to instigate the enemy would be lowered as well.
Arthur then decided to upgrade his Strength immediately.
[Strength: White-Low Tier -> White-Mid Tier]
[Cost: 500 EXP, Upgrade Strength? (Y/N)]
`Yes!`
The surge of power coursed through him, and he felt his body grow stronger, attaining a White-Mid Tier Strength. However, it didn't end there, as he went to upgrade his Strength again.
[Strength: White-Mid Tier -> White-High Tier]
[Cost: 2000 EXP, Upgrade Strength? (Y/N)]
`Yes!`
[Strength: White-Hight Tier -> Blue-Low Tier]
[Cost: 5000 EXP, Upgrade Strength? (Y/N)]
`Yes`
[Prompt: Insufficient EXP]
`Alright, this should be enough` thought Arthur inwardly. Even though he wanted to upgrade it again so he could reach Blue-Low Grade Strength, but right now he lacked the EXP to upgrade it again.
Though the odds were still heavily against them, Arthur felt a newfound sense of confidence. He knew that every bit of strength he has mattered in the upcoming battle.
