Chapter 2 - 002. The Pure Spirit

Pasvaati waited too long for the heirs. The Inheritance is the same age as Jawata, leaving less traces of history.

_______

Taja.

He introduced himself. Quite young. He was 15 years of Jawata term. A month a go, Taja came to Tanapura Sect. He was brought by Chief Sujinsha who guided him. Taja was not alone. Someone else with him.

Lorr En, a bodyguard, also friend. A strange and unusual name. He was 16 years old, always took care of Taja, not even an distance from him.

At first, the two young men had difficulty speaking the Tanapura language. About who the two of them, not many people know. From which sect or tribe, the origins of both, also unclear.

Only Chief Sujinsha had a reason, as the supreme controller of the Tanapura Praja Unit, to place Taja and Lorr En on the joint praja team. As luck, Taja was chosen to be the Archers squad. Specially trained under the direct leadership of Chief Sujinsha to learn a legendary heirloom.

Pasvaati.

A legendary heritage in Jawata, which has been silent for too long, has only left a name. Shaped arrows, symbol of the power of the Tanapura Sect for hundreds of years ago. But who would have thought that Pasvaati has its own legend.

Pasvaati used to be in the form of a giant dagger which was re-forged by the past owner. No one knows for sure who the owner of the mythical dagger was. The legend of 'Keris' and 'Sang Empu' was too far back in time and leaves very little trace of the story.

Taja looks at the Pasvaati heirloom intently. Directly, the hereditary heritage of Tanapura can be seen displayed on the big table. Many other arrows were lined up on the large table. Maybe hundreds and various types. But the Pasvaati was most striking and specially treated by the way it is displayed, supported at the ends.

Taja turned his eyes to Chief Sujinsha pacing back and forth, circling the prajas while explaining about the heirlooms.

A moment later, Taja returned his attention to the plain-looking Pasvaati Heritage. From base to tip, it is made of metal and still maintains a white shine.

Suddenly Taja remembers something that glows like Pasvaati. The shine hit both eyes until it was dazzling. But he wasn't sure what it was, or maybe Taja couldn't remember.

"Pasvaati re-forged from a giant dagger!" Chief Sujinsha was suddenly moved to close to Taja and broke mind which had been carried away.

"Auspicious pasvaati."

"Pasvaati resides in the Spirit of the Master," Chief Sujinsha explained further. Shuddering, all the student of praja were carried away by the story of Pasvaati which was told by Chief Sujinsha. This was also their first time hearing it.

"That said, the Spirits of the former sect leaders are still connected to Pasvaati."

Chief Sujinsha continued while pointing at the arrow heirloom that was firmly displayed.

All praja carefully listened to explanation. All eyes are on Pasvaati. The arrow weapon managed to amaze everyone. It doesn't look like an inanimate object, but like the Leader from another realm. Charismatic. Superpower and full magic. Beautiful. Pleasing anyone who saw it. At the same time afraid for anyone who wants to have it.

"At least in the last 100 years, no one has been able to touch it let alone use it!" continued Chief Sujinsha greeted the eyes of all students, implied by their empty hope to have Pasvaati.

"The greatness of the Tanapura Knights seemed to have been cut short by this fate!" Chief Sujinsha's palms turned towards Pasvaati who stood proudly in his place.

Unless someone alone, looks enthusiastic and confident. A praja is standing in the front row, facing directly towards Pasvaati. He showed hand.

Raojhin. He was the praja who raised his palm, indicating that he was about to ask a question.

"What is it you wish to ask, Raojhin?" Chief Sujinsha responded to the praja.

Taja had been serious since earlier, turning towards Raojhin. Here are the other praja.

"Are there no more Tanapura Knights who have inherited the greatness of their ancestors?" Raojhin asked. Chief Sujinsha sighed before replying.

"It is not greatness and supernatural powers that are the measure of being able to use Pasvaati," answered Chief Sujinsha.

"Then who can?" Raojhin frowned. All the student of praja were as amazed as he was.

"Pasvaati has a Pure Spirit," Chief Sujinsha replied straightforwardly, "That's the key!"

"Pure Spirit?" all the prajas wondered. Some of them, looked at each other in astonishment.

Suddenly Taja answered, "How deeply regretted!"

All praja line up in a circle around the big table. Their attention turned towards Taja. Chief Sujinsha is no exception. Feels a bit presumptuous, the sentence satirizes many parties. Chief Sujinsha approached Taja.

"What do you mean, Taja?" asked Chief Sujinsha.

"How shame if you mean that ..., so many Praja of Tanapura, but no one has a Pure Spirit," said Taja, lowering his gaze slightly.

"Those who fail to touch Pasvaati, highly skilled people," said Chief Sujinsha. While occasionally looking at all the students of the praja lined up around a large table neatly arranged with various heirlooms.

"All of you are challenged for the expert training!" continued Chief Sujinsha in a firm tone. Lastly, the eyes locked on Taja and Raojhin stand next to each other.

"Ascetics, knights, great teachers, even sect leaders from all over, no one has touched Pasvaati yet," Chief Sujinsha explained clearly about the past failures.

"Only someone with a Pure Spirit! That's the hint!" Chief Sujinsha's index finger pointed at the carved sentences on the wooden supports of the Pasvaati. Clearly read by everyone who was in that place.

"If one of us succeeds in touching and holding Pasvaati, then ... what shall we do, Chief?" asked Raojhin hopefully, curriously.

"Combine with the Gendewa!" answered Chief Sujinsha, all eyes look at him. Sparkle and widen eyes so much.

"We'll see how great the heirlooms of Gendewa and Pasvaati come together!" said Chief Sujinsha firmly and impassionedly. Burning the spirit of the praja.

"The Gendewa ...?!" all students of praja were wide-eyed shocked.
