Chapter 7 - 007. The Soul of 400 Years

"There are lots of people here that I know. But very few of them I've met," replied Radhit.

"You can meet and appear in person?" asked Taja again.

"Yes. Only at certain times."

"For over 400 years, then ...?" Taja didn't have time to continue question more, Radhit interrupted first.

"The age equivalent of great-grandfathers is more than ten generations."

It was as if Taja was confused, "More than ten generations? That old age?"

"Then … why is your form only a soul? Don't you have a body?" he asked.

"I have a body. But my soul is trapped in Tanapura and cannot leave. That's what made me have to explore a lot of anything in the Palace of the Book. I'm looking for clues on how to get back to my body."

Taja became a little concerned hearing that, "Was it a mistake?" he felt that Radhit was in a long, unfinished problem.

"No. I'm having a hard time explaining it to you right now. Too long to tell. Someday I will tell you about it," Radhit replied.

"My body is in a place very far from here. My body doesn't age, neither does my soul. My body does not eat and drink, but my soul eats and drinks like a living human," said Radhit.

"So what is your body doing right now somewhere?" Taja looked deep curiosity.

"The last 'I left my body, he was in a position to meditate."

"Approximately, what happened to your body at this time?" asked Taja again.

"My body is still alive. Because I am the soul of a living person," continued Radhit before unfolding the palm leaves in hand. Taja's attention turned to the book.

"Radhit, what are you reading?" Taja turned his attention to the book in Radhit's hand.

"This is the Muhaqqina Book, but it is not complete. A book of antidote to magic, medicine and poison."

"There are several magic spells that can be combined with certain weapons. Including Pasvaati," explained Radhit.

"The Gendeva, Pasvaati and Muhaqqina. The perfect combination!" continued Radhit. The king didn't budge.

"So far, you have also participated in every praja training," Taja looked at the contents of the ejection that was now displayed in front of the two of them.

"I don't see any writing in this book," Taja was surprised again.

"The Muhaqqina is a magical old book. It looks like just a scroll. But this book reveals almost all the events in The Land of Jawata."

Taja shows the lontar in Radhit's hand, displayed on the table.

"Have to chant a special incantation before reciting it, you won't even understand the incantation language in Muhaqqina. This is the language of the Guardians."

Taja scratched his head, a hint of confusion.

"Unfortunately, Muhaqqina was partially damaged, leaving only a few parts," Radhit took a deep breath, "I didn't find another piece."

"Mmm, I heard through the grapevine, Pasvaati will be married to the Gendeva. Is it really that great of an effect?"

"Yes. But it won't work without the Muhaqqina incantation," replied Radhit.

"What happens if the Muhaqqina incantation is recited to control Pasvaati and the Gendeva?"

"Depends on the type of incantation being cast. Muhaqqina contains shield, protection, and medicine spells. Also vice versa, poison, destroyer, spreader of death," Radhit made Taja even more curious.

"In my hand is Muhaqqina on the good side. It is very likely that the missing part of Muhaqqina contains bad spells," continued Radhit.

"That's very dangerous!" Radhit kept his voice down, "Especially if it's in the wrong hands."

"Radhit, exactly who are you?" muttered Taja feeling amazed and terrible at the same time. Because Radhit knows a lot about things and events.

Amidst the silent room of the Palace of Scriptures, they talked about many things excitedly. Without feeling the time rolling. From outside the Palace of the Book, there was the sound of the gong, sign as Time of The Tigress**, echoing eleven times.

"Would you like, 'shall I show you how to touch and hold Pasvaati?" this time it was Radhit's turn to ask.

"I ... umm ... touching Pasvaati ...?" Taja felt that was impossible. He didn't even know Pasvaati furthure more.

"I've touched it a few times but who has ever seen me do that?" Radhit replied while shaking head. He recalls the incident himself touching Pasvaati. But with no physical form, who would witness it.

"Wow, that's amazing!" again Taja amazed.

"Maybe you can do it," said Radhit trying to convince.

"How to?" Taja can't wait to try.

"Let's go to the Heritage Palace!" asked Radhit.

"Now?!" Taja wasn't sure about it.

"Yes!" Radhit confirmed firmly.

"The time is too late. Lots of guards there. They won't let us in," Taja kept voice a little quiet so he won't make any noise around the room. What's more, they are talking about an insidious plan.

"This is our best time!" said Radhit and immediately got up from seat. In a moment he folded the palm leaves in hands, and placing them casually on the folding table. He glanced at Taja for a moment. Meanwhile, Taja was confused about whether to accept Radhit's invitation or not.

"Just follow me! They won't know if we infiltrate the Heritage Palace tonight," said Radhit.

"Okay," without thinking anymore, Taja agreed. Even though he had doubts, but enthusiasm for Pasvaati. However, he compels to hurry to follow Radhit go to the Palace of the Scriptures.
