After Shinryu left with Lily and Bella to go training in a nearby dungeon, Morgana walked up the obsidian steps to the platform and noticed a man crouching next to the portal frame.
He was a pale man with long dark hair and blue eyes, and he wore a light jacket with bone pieces attached to its fabric.
As the trickster's steps became audible to the man, he hastily stood up and nervously pointed his obsidian staff at Morgana, who raised her hands to the sides with innocence.
"Wh-who are you?" the man asked with a shaky voice.
"Just an adventurer passing by. I didn't know there would be a line to use the gate…" the trickster replied casually.
The man was confused at Morgana's attitude, prompting him to use his "appraisal" skill on her.
The trickster, feeling her "omnisense" tingling, knew that the man was checking her information and sighed with exhaustion.
'Is he gonna run? Attack me? Freeze with fear?' Morgana pondered.
