Abigail sat up and gasped for air, her breathing hitched as she struggled to get her breathing steady. She looked around frantically and noticed she was back to reality. She quickly touched her body and assessed it for any damage but luckily there was none.
She was alive!
She quickly stood up and looked around again to notice if there were any changes but everything was the same, she was still ten meters away from the entrance of the hallway, the maids were still on repeat as they passed the hallway everything fifteen minutes. Abigail sighed in relief as she remembered her encounter with the eerie being in her dream. As much as she tried to remember his face completely, she couldn't and everytime she tried her head began to thump loudly and it hurt like hell so she dropped the matter for now and focused on the other pressing matter.
She found a way out!
