Regan couldn't remember the last time he felt like this: his beast restless, hungry, and angry. He hadn't been able to close his eyes last night.
"Where is Darius?" he demanded.
"I'm here, Your Highness," Darius appeared in the room.
"Did they find the seal?" Regan asked, feeling his beast slowly taking over him.
Darius shook his head. "No, Your Highness. They haven't found it."
Regan tried to keep calm, but his beast was already enraged. His nails had grown longer, and he couldn't control himself.
He crossed his hands behind him and faced Darius. "Bring them to me," he ordered.
Darius left and later returned, dragging two soldiers with him.
"Where is the seal?" Regan demanded, striding toward them. Each step he took made the men pale in fear.
"W-We are still... looking for it, Your Highness..." one of them stammered, trembling as Regan approached.
