As I spent more time with Leilani, I realized she was a very good person like Sierra had said, not only that she was also a very honest person. I already missed her quite a bit since she left with the cold Savas, who never spared anyone a glance.
After having dinner, I strode outside to check on Sierra.
"Sierra," I called as I walked down the marble stairs. "Sierra," I called again when I got no reply. I wondered where she was. The house was eerily silent and cold unlike before and I was beginning to get frightened.
I walked outside and found Sierra, sitting on a short stool, a little metal bowl in front of her, and inside the metal bowl was a blazing fire.
I was confused for a while, pondering on what she was doing near the fire. She couldn't be probably warming up herself when the noon sun was already hot enough. She was so focused that she didn't even notice me.
