Regan watched the castle from a distant hill, the place where he used to live and where he had grown up. It now stood as his enemy. The castle was heavily guarded, with soldiers wielding weapons stationed everywhere, protecting every gate and corner. It would be impossible to enter the castle and kill Ivan unless Ivan decided to come out. But that seemed unlikely.
Regan drew a sharp breath, his gaze sweeping across his men. They had spent so many days there, waiting for some kind of opportunity to arise that would allow him to kill his brother, but such a chance never came. It felt impossible.
"We need to do something. We can't stay here forever," Regan said.
Darius turned to look at him. "I suggest we go to the safe house and come up with a plan, or we find a way to lure Ivan out," Darius suggested.
