Chapter 50 - Strange woman.

I woke up after a peaceful slumber, feeling my whole body sore and arching sweetly. Images of last night appeared in my head vividly, making me smile sheepishly. The feral activities that made me feel like my body doesn't belong to me anymore.

I slowly turned around, expecting to find Regan sleeping next to me, but to my surprise, he wasn't there. I placed my hand on his side of the bed, and it was cold, which means it has been quite a long time since he left.

I sat up, and my eyes scanned the room; still, he wasn't in the room either. Maybe he was outside with his men, I concluded, trying to get out of bed when my eyes caught something on the table. It was a note, and I was sure it wasn't there yesterday.
