How was it possible for her to regain her memories?
"Nora, are you okay?" he asked, his voice tinged with curiosity.
She wiped away her tears and looked up at him. "I'm hungry... would you have dinner with me?" she requested, as if nothing had just happened.
"Yes, of course," he replied, and they both walked over to the dinner table.
The food was already served, and she sat down. Normally, the man would sit before his wife, but he didn't mind. He just wanted to understand what was happening to her.
As they ate, he stole glances at her several times, realizing there was so much he needed to tell her. He had erased her memories of their wedding night, after the initiation. He didn't want her to remember any of the things that had happened to her because they would haunt her if she stayed here. But he was terribly mistaken. All of those memories came rushing back to her. He wondered how long they would continue to haunt her.
