She soon snapped out of her daze and said "I want to help okay,I can't do anything again in the house,so I want to be helpful here at least,she said.

Soon he got a phone call and left the kitchen to go answer it.
Her mind still wandered to the events of the past few days, particularly the complex emotions surrounding her feelings for Sefra. Lost in her thoughts, she wasn't as careful as she should have been, and her hand slipped, resulting in a deep cut on her palm.
"Ouch!" Kiara winced, dropping the knife as she clutched her injured hand. Blood began to trickle from the wound, and she quickly grabbed a nearby kitchen towel to apply pressure and stop the bleeding.
Just then, she heard hurried footsteps approaching. Sefra burst into the kitchen, his eyes wide with concern. "Kiara, what happened?" he asked, rushing to her side.
"I... I cut myself," she managed to reply, trying to steady her breathing.
Sefra took one look at her hand and didn't waste a second. With swift movements, he gently grabbed her injured hand and brought it close to his lips. Kiara's heart skipped a beat as she felt the cool touch of his lips on her wound. A tingling sensation followed, and to her surprise, the wound began to close and heal rapidly.
Kiara stared at him in awe, amazed by his supernatural abilities. "You can heal wounds?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Sefra nodded, his eyes never leaving hers. "Yes, vampires have regenerative abilities," he explained. "It's one of the many advantages we possess."

I was just lost,I didn't know when I slipped,she said.

Feeling a mix of relief and disappointment at the distraction, Kiara tried to collect her thoughts. She knew that whatever Sefra wanted to say was likely significant, and the anticipation left her heart pounding.
She sat down there for a while but he didn't seem to come back anytime soon,she didn't have much appetite so she just threw away the remaining food an washed the dishes before going to her room.
She couldn't stop thinking about what Sefra was about to tell her that left her heart in anticipation before the phone call,she didn't want her hopes to he high and she also remembered he wasn't supposed to know about her feelings for him,she finally made up her mind and with that she called up David.
Hey,what's up,he greeted as he picked up the call,he let out a soft yawn but she could clearly hear it.
Am sorry for waking you up,she said with guilt.
It's okay,is something the matter,he asked and she kept quiet for a while.
I do know that David has even if it's a tiny bit feeling for me and using that to my advantage won't be nice and it will hurt him if he finds out but I have no choice,maybe I could even develop real feelings for him,she thought and was interrupted.
Are you okay?,he asked as she was silent.
Umm yeah,I..well I just wanted to know if..um you would like to go out with me tomorrow,she asked nervously.
Umm sure no problem,he said casually as he didn't seem to get the message.
I mean like..like a. date,she elaborated and he understood.
Sure why not,he said trying to suppress his happiness.
Tomorrow by 7,she said and hurriedly disconnected the call.
She laid on the bed and soon fell asleep after turning for a while.
Meanwhile Sefra who finds answering his call as quickly as he could came back but couldn't see Kiara,her side of the table was neatly arranged and his food was covered at the side,he went straight to her room only to hear her conversation with David.

The girl he had feelings for,who was his mate and was trying to woo had someone she liked and was even inviting him for dinner tomorrow,should he just let that happen.....,yes he had wronged her family but that was in the past and he didn't want any more problem,he was about to tell her his true feelings but she was inviting another person for dinner.
He wasn't going to let another dude steal the girl,he wasn't going to let her on that date even if it was the last thing he had to do.
