My vision was black. A void of nothing but complete and utter darkness. Yet still - like a dream - I floated amongst this sea of nothing. I made to open my eyes, trying to search the endless void for something.
But as if to deny my very orders; my body didn't allow me. My eyes screwed themselves shut, my fists clenched and my knees curled into my taut stomach. For a moment that was all I was. A babe in the infinite nothing. Curled into herself and floating... ever floating.
Then something. A power that welled between mine breasts. Something so pure and utterly powerful that it took one look at the infinite void and scoffed. As if they were below even the dirt upon my shoes.
My eyes - screwed tightly shut - relaxed. To the point that I could open them should I wish. But that arrogance... that power. I was beyond them. For me to look was to give the void attention far greater than it could ever muster.
Then light.
