"I shook my head. "I was just looking at the view."
"Well, when you're done, let me know. I'll show you where the spare bedroom is and where you need to keep your things," he remarked casually.
"Are you seriously going to do this?" I raised an eyebrow at him. His nonchalance was beginning to bother me.
"Do what?" he asked as if he had no idea what I was talking about.
"Dylan," I warned in a low voice, before finally addressing the elephant in the room. "Are you seriously going to pretend like I haven't been here before?"
Dylan looked surprised. He probably wasn't expecting me to bring up that night he took me home from the bar.
"You never really left a note," he said finally. "I didn't think you'd even remember."
I could see how Dylan had made it as a CEO. He had a knack for always making himself sound innocent.
"Well, I do remember," I replied, glancing at the window again. Dylan looked at it too, and I just knew that both of us were thinking of the same thing.
