Having finished dealing with those children, I sat on the edge of a balcony, overlooking the war happening below while concealing my presence, becoming practically invisible given my powerful observation haki. As I watched the battle, I figured I could use this opportunity to further refine my technique, though I really was just bored and wanted an excuse to join in on the fun.
While those children were strong, they were only about as strong as an Admiral, and that was me being generous; they were probably around King's level of strength, if I'm being honest; if they were given the chance to grow into adults, I'm sure they could give me a wonderful fight, but I don't feel like waiting that long, so I just killed them.
'Haa, don't tell me I've already grown too strong for the people of this world? That wouldn't be fun; at least let there be some decent challengers remaining.' Mused Diddy lightly as he glanced at the sky with hopeful eyes, only to shake his head.
Hoping I'd meet a challenge when invading Mariejois, I leaped off the balcony and landed on the ground before stealthily maneuvering through Marineford, avoiding numerous attacks flying through the air that would've otherwise given away my position.
I kept my eyes closed and focused on haki, commanding it with precision as I fused my armament and observation within just a second, a massive improvement compared to before, but I still needed to concentrate as it had yet to become second nature to me. Picking an unfortunate marine to be my test subject, I used my haki to rip the Giant's leg off before shifting my focus to another unlucky target.
"DIE! ARGHHHHHH!!" Yelled the Giant as he swung his mighty sword, only for it to fall from his hands while he collapsed onto the ground, clutching the stump where his leg used to be.
While I further refined my technique using this army of Marines, leaving behind no evidence of my presence, time passed by, and before I knew it, night had arrived.
'Hmm, it's only night? Feels like days have passed.' Thought Diddy blandly as he glanced at the three-quarter moon while lying on his back atop a pile of rubble.
Shrugging my shoulders, I glanced at a cowering marine hiding behind the pile of rubble I was lazing on and squinted; nothing happened for nearly half a minute, but a moment later, his body suddenly popped like a balloon, leaving behind a rather disastrous crime scene of guts, blood, and flesh all over the place, though, with a whole war happening, no one noticed.
Feeling slightly bored, I searched through the pirates and Marines, curious if there was a beautiful woman I could use, though it was probably because of Freyja that no woman looked all that good to me, so I ended up empty-handed.
'Tsk, as annoying as she is, she damn sure is sexy.' Mused Diddy lightly as he rubbed his head in annoyance while glancing at Freyja, who was fighting against Akainu, their battle having transformed half of Marineford into an uninhabitable zone.
Since there wasn't any woman I felt like sleeping with besides Trenza, who was clearly busy with the war, I just decided to pass the time by sleeping; I would train, but I've been doing that all day, not to mention I've made massive improvements so I should let my mind rest a little before continuing with any more training.
'Wonder how the war will be in the morning.' Thought Diddy lightly as he leaped onto Nimbus before falling asleep atop his fluffy cloud, his presence going completely unnoticed.

Awakening from the sounds of battle, I slowly opened my eyes and stretched, yawning into the sky while sighing in satisfaction.
"Ahh, what a wonderful nap; I feel fully rested." Muttered Diddy with a faint smile as he twisted his body before plopping onto Nimbus, only to shift his focus to the war at hand.
Gazing at the war, I noticed there was a rather big change; we were currently pushing back the marine forces, which caused me to tilt my head in confusion since when I had gone to sleep, it was the opposite. However, it didn't take me long to notice Scar, Sebas, and Mael had joined the war efforts, causing me to raise an eyebrow as I looked for the Admirals they should've been fighting, only to hear groans of pain from behind me.
"Oh, that's where you guys went." Said Diddy lightly as he glanced at Fujitora, Ryokugyu, and Kizaru, all three lying on the pile of rubble.
The three Admirals looked pretty damn bad, the same was said for Scar, Mael, and Sebas, but they were still able to fight, albeit it was clear it wouldn't take much to put them out of the battle. Shifting my focus to Bullet, who looked rather worse for wear, though I did notice he was now the one giving Sengoku and Garp a rather hard time as it seemed like their old age had finally caught up to them; they were still very strong, no doubt about that, but they couldn't fight prolonged battles.
As for Freyja and Akainu, it was hard to tell who would win since they were still clearly at full strength and didn't look like they would be stopping any time soon.
'Huh, if things continue like this, we won't even need the Giants. Hmm, I suppose we can save them for another time; I'll just need to toss a few sea kings in there so they don't die of starvation.' Thought Diddy with a thoughtful expression as he rubbed his chin while leaping off Nimbus, landing atop the pile of rubble beside the three Admirals, causing them to flinch from his presence.
"So we're not even considered worthy threats anymore?" Asked Fujitora softly as he grasped his sword and eyed Diddy, who glanced at him before shaking his head.
"Maybe if you three weren't so injured, I'd kill you, but yeah, as of right now, you three aren't a threat whatsoever." Replied Diddy lightly as he ignored Fujitora, his words causing him and Kizaru to chuckle while Ryokugyu grunted in anger.
Leaving the three Admirals alone, I leaped into the air and headed to Pandemonium, only to see destroyed warehouses, yet not a single corpse was in sight, which caused me to tilt my head in confusion, yet in the end, I just shrugged my shoulder, so long as they did their job I didn't really care what they did with the bodies.
Passing Pandemonium, I submerged myself into the ocean, passing by Kaido, who was dealing with the red-haired pirates by himself; I continued deeper into the ocean until I started to come across a few sea kings, which I caught before forcing them into the photo where the Giants were imprisoned.
After getting ten of them, I returned to Marineford, where I spent the rest of the days training and perfecting my technique. I would interfere with the battle myself, but there wasn't much point; it didn't matter whether Bullet, Freyja, or hell, even Kaido won their battles. So long I was alive, I was entirely confident in defeating them all, not to mention they would have all been weakened.
Days passed by, and the first to finish their battle was Kaido, who had returned to Pandemonium covered in injuries, though that was only after having sunk the Red-hair pirates, which was an obvious outcome; as for Bullet, he had fought both Sengoku and Garp to a standstill, they all ended up collapsing at the same time. The two marines may have been old, but they were clearly still a force to be reckoned with.
Sebas, Scar, and Mael have tipped the war in our favor, and honestly, at this point, it was only a matter of time until we won this war; the only thing we had to somewhat worry about was Freyja and Akainu, who were both still fighting with no end in sight. However, it didn't mean much if Akainu won; those three could deal with an injured, exhausted, and weakened Akainu.
"Wororo, we're really about to defeat the Marines." Muttered Kaido with a faint smile as he tossed slabs of sea king meat into his mouth while gazing at Marineford.
"Yeah, but they're nothing special; they're just a powerful dog to the World Government, and they're my real target. Raiding Mairejois will be fun… I hope so, at least." Remarked Diddy lightly as he glanced at Kaido, who nodded before grinning like a mad man.
After five full days, the war was beginning to reach a close with the pirates overpowering the remaining Marines, though both sides had lost a tremendous amount of men, with the Marines having lost more since they had more; then again, I never really cared about my supposed crew, they just existed. However, by tomorrow morning, the Marines should have been either killed or captured, bringing this war to a close.
"Heh, after the Marines, It'll be the World Government, the Pirates, and then the Revolutionary Army." Muttered Diddy with a feral grin as he clenched his fist in enthusiasm, only for him to furrow his brows.
'Hmm, but how will I get them all to join hands and fight against me?' Thought Diddy with a thoughtful expression as he rubbed his chin while leaning against Nimbus.
