Having heard this voice that was feminine and silky, Midas turned his perception outwards because he had sensed something else… danger.
That was when he saw the speaker of those words. It was a tall, scaled woman, humanoid again… How interesting. Midas knew of convergent evolution, but for there to be so many humanoid creations in existence from all over the universe was definitely an interesting thing.
Saying that the universe was converging towards being humanoid was wrong. It was more like the world was converging to having two legs that stood upright, and two arms. It also turned out that humans were naturally born like this. An interesting coincidence. Or maybe Gaia was a good designer.
Anyway, Midas was wondering just how humanised the higher levels of existences were, and when he would see them.
