In all honesty, Midas did not know what to expect from the man. Time and time again, Link had proved himself as someone who should never be underestimated, and Midas would not go out of his way to start doing that now.
Link was strong, smart, had the gift of foresight, and knowledge from who knew where they would make him a god among mortals and Awakened alike.
"What the hell did I do to you in your past life for you to hate me this much?" said Midas with a chuckle, preparing to do his best too. He was not expecting to get an answer but from Link's even sharper gaze, Midas knew he was spot on.
What a fucking cheat. Coming back from the future, what was he? Some main character or something?
Both he and Helga were insane existences and Midas wondered if there were more people like them around out there in the universe. One came from the future and another was a reincarnation of a powerful person. Fucking crazy.
