Amon held his arm upwards, with his thumb pointing at Leon. Leon sneacked foraward, trying to make not a single noise as he came nearer towards Amon.
"Distract him," Amon said.
Leon nodded, reached his arm out, and let a yellow-colored crystal flow out of it. Amon pointed with his five finger tips at the prism-shaped crystal. His hand was opened a little bit, and his fingers lowed and gattered light Qi.
Since the fight against Unknown, Amon has become much better at using skillis without calling their name out or thinking about the name.
He felt that something helped him—something near the area of his back helped him band the Qi into the shape he wanted it to. What kind of power still needed to be found out, but for now he was thankful for the power that helped him.
Amon pulled his hand 10 centimeters back and then pushed it forward again. Five yellow, glowing light strings flowed towards the crystal and hit it.
As the crystal was hit, the image of a houling wolf appeared in front of everyone. The wolf sprinted around the corner, where Amon and the others could already hear a powerful roar.
"Now, attract as much attention as you can, Krampus." Amon whispered; he had a plan, and for that, he needed a good distraction, and who could get more attention than Krampus? The only thing that could get similar attention would be Bruna's massive boobs, which Thessia could not even compare to, but for that, she had a plump ass and good-looking legs.
Krampus nodded. His horns, which already had a length of 90 centimeters, grew more and longer until they reached the length of a whole meter. Krampus sprinted away around the corner. Where Amon could only hear, bells rang and a beast roared.
Amon vanished in front of everyone's eyes. Thessia gazed with a shocked expression at the path where Amon vanished without her noticing.
'I fucking love this skill.' After using it and training it for a long time, Amon fell in love with the skill called 'shadow step'. This skill gave him an enormous advantage in every possible fight scene. He loved it and would not want to live without it.
Amon walked around the corner and watched the fight between Krampus and the monster. With the body of a bear and the head of a lion, he never saw a creature similar to this one.
There was no other possibility; he must have been brought to a place far away from his guild, but he was confident that as long as he was still on his home continent, he would be back home within a few months.
He had to do something, and this had to be done now.
Amon turned his ring into a two-handed sword and waited for the moment that would literally cost his opponent his head.
'Now.'
SLASH!
Out of nothingness, Amon appeared; his sword was covered in lightning, and the monster was beheaded—the perfect surprise attack—an attack that killed the monster and shocked Krampus.
The only thing Krampus could see was how the head of his opponent fell to the ground, and a figure appeared from the darkness holding a gigantic two-handed sword in his hand. The bandages unwrapped themselves, and Amon's appearance revealed itself.
"Come everyone, the exit is only about five minutes away."
Amon called everyone out, and these followed with different facial expressions. Leon was unimpressed, Thessia was shocked, and Bruna was staring at the monster's beheaded head, lying on the ground.
Krampus let himself fall back, and Amon walked in front. Amon followed the way he felt with the help of his Qi, while Krampus and Thessia discussed the situation that happened a few seconds ago.
The five minutes passed by as if they were nothing.
The eyes of Amon were the first to see the rays of the sun. No one had any idea what time it was, but each of them was happy that the sun was still in the sky.
Amon waited for each of the others; he did not spend long in this cave but was incredibly happy to be out of it so early.
One after the next came closer, and together they took their steps and left the cave.
Around them, everything was a forest. Amon was happy at first, as were Leon and Bruna, but when they looked up into the sky, they were shocked.
"Don't tell me, no, it can't be. How is it possible?" Bruna was confused; what she saw was crazy; she couldn't do it; was it real?
Leon approached Bruna and said, "Yes, it looks like it; this is the Blue Volcano, and that means."
"We are on fucking Manju Island." Amon spoke as if he understood Leon's sentence.
"Are you dump? I don't know what Manju Island is, but we are definitely at Mora-, huh?"
Before Thessia could finish her sentence, she could feel Krampus hand on her shoulder. As he gazed in the same direction as he and the other three did, she indeed saw a vulcano dyed blue.
"I don't know how you can't know this island, but I can tell you one thing, and this is that we are fucked." Bruna was correct; this island was known to be the site of the deaths of over ten thousand mages.
Manju Island was a part of the Manju kindom, a kindom at the farest part of the continent Adrestra.
Manju is a kingdom consisting of many larger and smaller islands, and Manju was one of their largest, but it was never used.
The reason for this was that on this island, a powerful monster roams. Monsters have been tried several times, but every single time, it ended with the deaths of powerful mages.
Until the number of deaths last year cracked the tens of thousands of marks.
Amon was now far to the south, more than a year's journey from his home on an island that only three people have ever left alive.
"Everyone getter in the cave again; we have many things to discuss, really, really many things to discuss." Amon spoke.
"I will educate the two of you thoroughly about this place, and then we will find a way home." Amon said while walking back to the savest place on this island. The cave he wanted to get out of as fast as possible turned into the cave he wanted to get into as fast as possible.
