"Did you notice how he was staring at me?" asked Zuri. "That was why I wanted to stand up..."
"Why are you shy, Zuri?"
"I'm not..."
"What? Yes, you are..." replied Jaden. "You are red even as we speak..." he smiled as he watched her cover her face again with her hands.
"There's somewhere I want you to accompany me to. Would you like to come with me?"
"You are just coming back from a journey and you want to go for another?" Zuri asked with a frown on her face as she pouted her little plump lips. "Aren't you going to get some rest first?"
"Will you come with me?" Jaden asked with a smile on his face with his gaze fixated on her lips. They were so sweet and she smelled desirable. He had to restrain himself and contain himself from going over the edge anytime he was with Zuri. There was the urge to taste her blood -- to merge and mate with her. It was there and Jaden was almost on the verge of giving into that desire -- that pull.
