As Zuri got through the people that stood there, watching whatever was happening in the bailey, her eyes widened upon reaching the front of the crowd.
There was the prince, Kathy, Sandra, and even Khad.
Jaden had a whip – a silver whip in his hand and Khad stood at his right hand, but at a safe distance from him, Zuri could see that Khad had something in his hand that she didn't know what it was from where she stood. The people around her began to whisper and it seemed like no one wanted to speak with her.
Zuri gathered herself and rubbed her hands together. Kathy and Sandra were on the opposite side of where she was and she didn't think she could get to them now – at least not yet. She glanced sideways and saw a female standing close to her. The girl was a few inches shorter than Zuri was and she looked younger.
Zuri cleared her throat. "Excuse me…good morning… please what is going on here?" she asked in a trembling voice as she licked her lips as her mouth kept getting dry.
