My alarm woke me up again, I had a hard time opening my eyes but knowing that today was going to be my second day of high school did cheer me on a bit.

Seeing my intelligence being way above average made me feel better about my situation, yesterday at school I realized what my below average charisma meant, I often got interrupted during conversations and got along way more with the side characters like Shu and Ruri.
Having a higher charisma would be the equivalent to becoming closer to being a main character, I felt like even with me being a foreigner and standing out a lot my charisma made it so that I didn't retain as much attention as I thought I would.
After eating breakfast and putting on some clothes I went out as fast as possible, there's only 6 days left for the quest and I remembered that in the manga it took them around two weeks to find it so I'll need to put in more efforts than ever to succeed in this quest within the time limit.
I arrived there and started searching, after 20 minutes Chitoge joined me and started searching with me after seeing me from afar.
"Why are you still searching for that stupid pendant?" She asked, trying to break the ice between us.
"Because it seemed to be something important for Raku. I can understand how valuable such an item can be and I don't want him to go through the pain of losing it." I started getting amazed at how naturally bullshit came out of my mouth.
"Why do you think it's so important to him?" She seemed a bit annoyed but also genuinely curious.
"Probably an old promise, who knows. All we know is that he's very attached to it." Well, I knew the real reason but I didn't feel like telling her would be useful.
After 5 minutes we decided to go to school since we didn't have much time left. Right after arriving to the school gates we noticed Raku and Kosaki talking together so I tried to call for them.
"Heyy Raku! Kosaki! Do you guys come to school together?" After asking them that question I could clearly see both of them blush. It was kind of fun to tease them.
"No no no we just met right now, it's a coincidence." Raku hurriedly replied to which Kosaki agreed.
I then stopped teasing them and simply headed to class together with them.
The day went by pretty quickly, the only events worth mentioning were that most of my class seemed to be very surprised as I answered right to every question I was asked, which probably intimidated them more since nobody came talking to me at the end of the hour other than Shu.
School was way too easy for me, not only my above average intelligence helped me tremendously but my memories of my previous life also helped. so I adapted pretty easily to the environment.
Raku and Chitoge were tasked to be the school's farm caretaker and Raku was tasked to help Chitoge to get familiar with the school, while during that time I was simply going around the high school with Shu, Ruri and Kosaki who was tasked to take care of me.
After that was done I joined on Chitoge and Raku to try to find the missing pendant but still with no success, it was so annoying to waste most of my free time that way but I knew that the reward would be very worth it.
Not only the 30 coins and the chests, what interested me the most was what the upgrade of the system would look like. Though for now all I could do was search for the pendant.
------
And that's how the rest of the week went by, the only noteworthy events were that Chitoge and Raku both seemed to really dislike each other. In the anime it was only for a bit in front of the screen but seeing it happening all day long was different.
Even if my presence and intervention eased a bit of the tension between them, they still hated each other very much. Raku did try to help her with her notes but she refused and didn't even want to talk to him.
Another noteworthy event is that I skipped my first class, it was PE, I gave a shitty excuse but the truth was that I didn't want to expose my shitty stats and preferred to not show any of my physical "prowess" until I improve a bit.
But the common point of all those days is that we still couldn't find any trace of the pendant.
[Main quest:
Befriending the protagonist: (Difficulty F/ duration: 6hrs left)
Description:
Help raku find his precious pendant and befriend him
Reward:
Upgrade of the system, 30 coins, 5 F class chests]
Today was the last day and I was very much planning on putting in all the necessary efforts to find it, during those 6 days of search both Raku and Chitoge started looking at me as if I was some Angel after seeing how much effort I was putting daily.
Every passing day I increased the time I spent searching for the pendant and put more and more efforts into it.
It was already 6 pm and still no success, but one thing I noticed is that while my presence didn't provoke any huge change it was enough to provoke many small changes, the biggest of them being that the first huge fight between Chitoge and Raku which was scheduled for today, didn't happen.
Both of them went home but I was very much planning on searching until the very end of the timer.
Minutes and hours went by while I couldn't find anything, unknowingly a brown haired girl kept watching me as I crawled everywhere, searching for that shitty pendant.
By 9pm right as I was starting to lose hope and started just searching Blinding and throwing my hands around, my hand ended up hitting a hard object, that simple action triggered a notification from the system, that object was none other than the pendant of Raku.

[Yes] [no]
It was finally here, the notification I've been waiting for, all my efforts were all for that.
I nearly cried out from happiness while the people on the street were looking at me as if I was some kind of crazy person. I ignored them and headed back home hoping to get some rest and go receive my reward.
