While eating Jared questioned me about my stupidness and the exact reason of going to that place. I told him the whole story to which he reacted, "So, Aaron motivated you with all this?"
Just before I could have answered, My phone started to ring. I was frightened by the fact that it could be from home and my parents might have found out that I have sneaked out of my home.
But to my surprise, It was Aphrodite. Jared phone rang at the same time.
"Hello! Apro, sup?" I said casually
"Serena... Aro..." She said In a shivering voice
"What happened Aphrodite?" I asked almost panicking
"Aaron.... Aaron.... he is no more....." She said breaking down tears
"What?" I questioned not able to understand what's going on.
"He suicided" Aphrodite said, within no time I blanked out.
IN A DREAM WHICH IS PROBABLY CONNECTED TO A LIBRARY
As I opened my eyes, I was in some unfamiliar place. I saw a man reading a book, It took few seconds to realized it was Adrian, My Adrian.
"Adrian..." I said as I hugged him tightly from behind.
"Serena..." He turned towards me and hugged me from the side tightly.
"I was trying so hard to contact you up, tried all the means and it was the first time, It didn't work. My intuition were really really strong that you were in trouble. Where were you dear?" I asked
" I went to save you....." I said hugging him more tightly.
"SAVE ME? What are you even talking?" Adrian asked in confusion and I told him the whole tale about how Aaron told me that he is danger, how I went out of mu home all alone, how Team Fierce found us, how Jason and Jared came for our rescue and every out minute detail in short.
"What the fucking heck?" He said, "Are you crazy, you literally was ready to risk your life for me?"
"I can literally burn bridges and destroy the world for you." I said looking straight into in his eyes
"What do you even know about me? Serena. We met hardly few times." Adrian said
"You saved Me!" I had holding him much more tigher "You saved Me so many times putting your life in danger, our connection doesn't feels like today's, It feels like we knows eachother since eternity."
"You read too much novels" Adrian said hugging me trying to fight back his tears.
There was moment of silence for some while, Just the sound of our breathe which felt like some rhythm from the most beautiful melody.
"But why did Aaron spreader fake news, we need to go and find about it." Adrian said realizing that we had much more things to do than simply relaxing and romancing.
The name of Aaron hit me to the reality... I was shaken back trying to fight back my thoughts. Adrian realised it hold me up helping me to stand back on my feet.
"What happened? Serena??" He asked
"Aaron... Aaron I think he suicided..." I said in a shaking voice.
"I need to go back to the reality, please send me back." Adrian nodded and blinked his side and suddenly I felt the coolness again.
BACK TO THE PRESENT
I open my eyes, I was the on the passenger seat, Jared was driving.
"Ahhh ahhh" I kinda moaned without realizing it was moan.
Jared didn't noticed that much, "You fine?"
"Yes" I answered, "Jared... Aaron... he..."
"Aaron is gone forever, Serena..." Jared answered in a low and sadest voice he ever spoke from.
