Kingdom of Satvion;
Lucian was able to convince the men and women at the tavern to join him in his quest to fight against the gods and guardians.
He visited an inn to rest for the day and continue with his plan of brainwashing the people of Satvion.
The inn was closer to the castle of Satvion where King Alfred one of the great kings of his time was.
He took off his coat and hang it on the stand and stood close to the opened window as he watched the castle from afar.
He heard the faint clap of thunder in the sky but it didn't stop his ears from catching an uninvited guest in his room.
He feigns as the guest drew closer holding a sword ready to strike behind him.
He blocked the sword with his fingers as a flash of light blast the guest away pushing him hard and hitting his back on the wooden wall with his sword broken into two.
The guest stood on his feet like nothing had happened and smiled.
"You still have it in you Lucian" he praised him.
"Of course, I am not a ruler just by name"
They both laughed softly and got serious again.
"Lucian why have taken a mortal form and lived among them?" he questioned him.
"Take a guess" Lucian opened his arms with a smirk.
The guest took a step back and sighed.
"Lucian whatever you are planning should end here. If you are still hanging on rebelling against The supreme do not do it brother" he warned.
Lucian smiled softly and turned to stare at the castle. "I am not rebellious, I just want to rule over everything" he laughed devilishly.
"He is our father, the divine power, do you believe he will let this slide? Lucian do not force our hand to fight against you on the path you have chosen" he cautioned him.
"Hmmm, I knew you would say something like this. But I do remember a father does not abandon his children and distort the peace and harmony we had and bring forth a world filled with love just because he was bored" Lucian vents.
"Silence Lucian!!" he ordered.
"Do don't speak such blasphemous words against our father" he warned.
"I knew you would side with him but do not force me to stop what I have started because this is just the beginning" Lucian informed him.
"Go tell him about my plans, I won't stop you but if you still consider me as your brother you will look the other way," he said as he persuades him.
"I am not the right person to do that and you know that. Lucian this is a warning stop whatever plan you have at hand before the end comes" he warned for the last time and disappeared into thin air.
Lucian smiled devilishly and said;
"You are wrong my dear brother, it has already begun"
The Castle of Stavion…
King Alfred had gathered his loyal officials of the high courts as they discuss the issues at hand.
"High court I have gathered you all to get to the bottom of the troubles we have been facing these past few days.
"Yes my lord, it's quite alarming for the drought season to visit us so soon. We have employed all kinds of methods to subdue this drought but it is out of our hands now" his first in command briefed him on the issues.
"How is this possible? we have never experienced this kind of danger before. We must inform the people to save on what they have and keep their thirst for food on hold for a few days" King Alfred issued.
"My lord I am afraid there is not much to save for the drought has consumed our harvest and food storage" Another high court official stated.
"We must consult the spirit realm for assistance" the king suggested.
"That won't help my lord, for the women of the kingdom had gathered at the secret mountains to pray for days but yield no fruit"
"What?!!" King Alfred furiously stood up.
"How can they ignore us in time of need? How?!!"
They followed their king in any direction he went. He stopped and they did the same.
Looked behind him and saw his officials behind him. "why are you following?"
"Lord we follow you wherever you go" One of them responded.
"Oh so if I am going to ease myself you follow then" he playfully said.
"Yes, huh no" they responded.
He laughed out loud. "This is not the time to laugh or rejoice," he said as he cleared his throat.
"Inform the other kingdoms about the issue at hand. I want to know where they stand" he ordered.
They bowed and left.
A few days later, things became worst and worst for the mortals as drought and famine came knocking on their doors.
Women gathered to pray to the gods and guardians for their assistance but nothing seemed to work.
Unknown to the mortals at night Lucian schemes with his demons and spread out through the lands as they cause famine and drought across.
Anger and distrust filled the mortal's hearts for they were losing faith in the gods and guardians.
Kingdom of Amira…
King Kael sat on his throne lost in his thoughts when one of his guards came in.
"King Kael someone request an audience with you" he announced.
"And which house is he from to seek an audience with me" he questioned.
"He said he is here on a peace offering"
"Peace offering hmm. Let him in and make sure no one listens in on our conversation"
"Yes my lord".
The door opened for a tall man with long black hair entered with a smile.
"Who might you be to request an audience with the king of Amira" The king did not waste time in questioning the man in front of him.
The man bowed and spoke;
"I am a man seeking justice for the loss of my loved ones. I placed my trust in the so-called gods but they turned their back on my family when we needed them the most"
The king interrupted him. "If you are here to sell your sad story to me then you have chosen the wrong king".
The man smiled.
"I didn't come here to bore you with my stories, rather I am here to hold hands with you to fight gods and guardians of the spirit realm" he explained.
"You want us to fight the gods? Are you out of your mind? If you are looking for a death wish you came to the wrong king again" the king pointed out.
"Fearful as always," the man said to himself.
"I know what I am speaking of sounds impossible," he said to the king.
"But it's not entirely impossible" he added.
The king became curious "go on"
"There is a myth about three witches who lost their eyes to the gods after speaking against them. But it believed that the true reason for making them blind was to hide away the one thing that could kill an immortal"
"Hahahaha" King Kael laughed.
"And you believe there is such a thing in existence" he added.
"Yes and I have seen it myself but I can't do this on my own, I need knights and brave warriors to have my back when the time comes" he requested.
"And who might you be for me to trust your words?" The king asked.
"I am called by many names but you can call me Necron (trickster)" he answered.
"Necron? I haven't heard of that name before but as much as I don't trust you, I hate the gods more than I distrust you" King Kael stood up and walked towards him.
"So what do say?"
"Let rid of every last god out there" King Kael declared.
Information was spread out through the lands of the coming battle against the gods.
They prepare themselves for battle.
The spirit realm...
"The mortals are rebelling"…
