Without waiting for even a moment the orc lady launched towards Erika.
Norn, who was standing almost between them almost got caught up in that attack of hers.
However, as the orc lady was about to hit Norn...
She dodged slightly.
If Norn's reaction time was fast enough he would've seen that she smiled a little as she did that.
It was all due to her "playfulness" that she exuded from her actions and words.
Of course, it's not portrayed on her face or in her action, but she was just joking right now.
She didn't bother too much about all that as she had... problems that she had to solve.
As for a goblin and a perverted elf? Who the fuck cares about them?
She planned on beating both of them in no time and leaving them be.
Why would she carry some dead-weight?
However, that dream of hers isn't going to become reality.
Whether it is for the better or for the worse...
Well, it's not up to her to decide.
As the orc lady whose name is still unknown so you read the whole sentence instead of it got closer to Erika...
"Haha~"
A slight jiggle left Erika's mouth.
It was as soft as could be, as if she was about to do something cute.
Her action, however, wasn't fucking cute at all.
Some strange wave left one of her arms as she waved it towards the orc.
Before said orc lady could even see the wave her whole boddy shuddered from the pressure.
Norn's brow twisted a little, he didn't feel anything.
Why would she jump away from it?
The reason behind that was simple, Erika's shield was on Norn this whole time.
Even if all of those orcs attacked him they wouldn't be able to even move him a little, forget about harming.
"Interesting spell you have there!"
The old lady screamed as she launched herself forward once again...
Only for her weapon to be blocked by Erika's hand.
She simply grabbed the weapon that was supposed to split her in half.
Orc lady's eyes went wide once again.
"What the fuck!?"
She said loudly as she tried to move her weapon just a little.
It was futile.
"Surrender, i think my husband wouldn't like me beating his new slaves to death..."
She said with a smirk.
It wasn't that cute "Tee-hee" smirk.
It was "He~" smirk that evil masterminds had on their faces when they burned half of the world.
"Nah, u can do whatever you want with them. Just dont harm yourself."
Norn's answer wasn't what Erika expected.
Yeah, sounds stupid, it is indeed stupid.
She didn't have a single reason to just follow a random goblin, yet she did.
She didn't have a reason to help him study magic, protect him or whatever...
Yet, she did.
Why? Because he was kind to her, and since that little goblin was the first "person" to be like that...
She decided that it will be the first and last person that she will love.
As for what that "love" of hers is?
Too bad, not gonna tell ya.
"Oh~ Thanks sweetie~"
Erika looked back and Norn, not even bothering about her opponent!
"Men, attack the goblin!"
Orc lady suddenly cried out, trying to distract Erika.
Unexpectedly, however, Erika didn't even bother to me.
She simply stood there.
When Norn saw that she was like that he got scared for a second.
Weren't those orcs fucking strong?
Well, there's one way to find out!
Norn launched a lightning strike on one of them.
It used like 90% of his mana.
At least that's what the wanted it to do, in reality, however, only god knows how much it actually used.
It's effect, however, wasn't that hidden.
The orc simply fell to the ground after that one strike.
His body looked like a juicy piece of roasted meat!
Well, from Norn's perspective.
He felt a little strange about the fact that orc's body looked so tasty...
It, of course, wouldn't hurt to try, but...
Not all things should be tried...
Whatever was going on in Norn's head, outside of it has more importance right now.
The rest of the orcs stopped as they heard the lighting strike.
It was insanely loud, what did you expect?
It was a fucking lighting strike after all!
Ever heard one? Well, imagine that it hit a meter from you!
Every being here almost went deaf from it!
Orcs looked in horror at the little goblin who roasted their friend.
It was a bit too shocking, they would've understood it if it was the elf who did it...
But for a goblin to hold such strength?
What the fuck is going on here?
"Good job, sweetie!"
The silence was interrupted by Erika's praise, she was cheerful.
It was shocking for her!
Just a few days ago Norn was just dirt, now he was a little sprout that tried to get closer to the sun!
"Thanks, wifey."
Norn said, maintaining his "tough" look.
In reality, he was about to collapse.
This spell of his was strong, yeah.
It's mana consumption was also fucking strong!
He didn't even have a numerical value behind his mana capacity or spell damage, how would he know how strong he was if not like that!?
Just blast everything at once and then calibrate it to make it a little weaker, you dont need to evaporate your enemies, do you?
Well, not now, at least.
As such, the silence befell on the "battlefield" once again.
Everyone was silent, until Norn decided to wage war on that silnce.
"So, i guess my wifey won? Are you willing to become my slaves, or shall i let my wifey convince you?"
Norn's voice was "serious" as he said it, but he couldn't keep his act until the end.
He was almost laughing from joy as he was saying it.
The reason behind it wasn't that obvious to people present, they could assume, but that's all.
In reality, Norn was laughing because he confirmed that his wife was fucking overpowered to the extreme.
He wouldn't be surrpised if it turned out that she was some sort of an ancient elf or whatever.
"We... surrender..."
The orc lady had no choice but admit it.
If not that... only death awaits.
Which might not be that bad, considering that they're not slaves to a goblin and a perverted elf.
That orc lady already started imagining herself being ravaged by a group of goblins.
She, however, quickly abandoned that thought and hoped for the better.
In the worst case scenario there's always a way out, so why care too much?
It's not like she was afraid of using it, it's just that it would be a bit sad.
She had a mission, after all.
"Okay then~. Sweetie, make sure they're afriad of you so they dont even think of escaping~"
Norn's voice was that of a clueless child that simply told his mom something insanely stupid with a nice voice.
It was basically that though.
"Sure, husband."
Her answer had the same level of ignorance behind it.
After it followed a little "flame" in her hand which...
Well, to put it simply scared the shit out of them.
To put it NOT simply... it made them realize that they didn't stand a chance from the very fucking beginning.
Why? That little "flame" was a way to show off one's magic prowess, a common method, just like arm wrestling between "strong" people.
Here, however, one didn't need to touch the opponent, as the simple color of a flame was enough.
It varied from person to person, but the overall "outline" of colors was the following:
Black - shit
Dark red - still shit
Red - average (but still shit)
Blood red - average (shitty)
Pinkish red - average (read as: good)
Reddish pink - - average+ (read as: genius)
Pure pink - good (read as: omg, a true genius!)
Pinkish white - good+ (read as: who the fuck are you!?)
Pure white - as it should be (read as: FUCKING MONSTER)
Those flames weren't exactly a show-off of power, just a basic outline of one's power.
Just like in armwrestling it wasn't all that mage could use.
The method, however, showed one's talent and overall knowledge in magic, thus it was popular.
Erika's flame was pinkish white, which basically meant that she was above archmage level.
Who were those people?
Even orcs knew that those weren't to be messed with, and now they met one...
Calling a fucking goblin her husband...
Yeah, life is... well, kinda fucking strange, isn't it?
Whatever that elf lady was... They stopped even thinking badly about her.
Mages of her level were basically gods compared to normal people...
She wasn't one, but she still had zero chances.
After concluding the "meeting" that they had a decision was finally made.
What the fuck am i talking about?
Well, Erika tried to convince Norn to kill of the orcs, since they wont be of much use anyway, and if they released them to wander around they would do many bad things.
Norn, however, was sure that it wouldn't happen, but he also knew that if he pretended to protect them they wouldn't just do that, he was a kind guy after all.
In reality, however, it was exactly what both of them wanted.
It was a spectacle that they came up with on the spot.
Strangely enough, orcs didn't understand that they just got played, as if it was normal for their new owner to be so protective of them.
Whatever was going on in their heads i doubt that it will be of use to you.
As such, let's switch to a different thing.
Norn, Erika and some wild orcs started walking back to the village.
Nothing major happened as they walked, they saw a random boar that they took with them, but that's all.
When they arrived, however, they were met with a bunch of goblins that were ready to fight them.
It made Norn's face look kind, he was feeling nice because those goblin protected his tribe!
However, it wasn't just that, they protected themselves in the first place, tribe comes after it...
Still, the goal was the same, why bother?
As soon as they saw their chief, however, they chilled out.
After some explaining Norn "intergated" orcs into goblin society, telling them to not fuck around too much, as there would be punishments for any report from a goblin.
He also warned goblins not to fuck around with orcs, since they were much more powerful that they were.
Goblins weren't stupid enough to do that in the first place, as such, everything went somewhat well.
As for the lady orc?
She was taken by Erika personally, back when he got back from the forest she took her somewhere.
God knows what she's doing to her, but Norn didn't really care, he was curious, but that's all.
As such, he went home to practice magic some more, as it was his main goal...
When he got home, however, he was met with a strange sight:
the orc lady was sitting infront of Erika, who casted some sort of a spell on her.
"Oh, sweetie, i'm almost done, come here."
Erika said as soon as Norn entered the building.
"As if you didn't know i'm coming..."
His answer was just that.
"Of course i didn't sweetie, i'm not spying on you~~"
Her smile made it obvious, it was just a joke.
Whether she wanted or not she was aware where he was.
Of course she wanted it.
"So, what are you doing with her?"
Norn couldn't help but ask, she looked like a doll at this point.
"I decided to make her a bit more obedient, just a little obedience spell, dont worry~"
Her smile was kind, as if she was making a pie for her family or whatever.
"Yeeeeeaaaah"
Norn thought to himself.
"Just a little obedience spell" meant that she was enslaving her.
"Okay, sounds good to me wifey"
Norn smiled as he answered.
"Glad that you like my gift to you~"
Erika didn't stop casting it this whole time as she talked to Norn, and after a minute or so...
"What have you done to me!?"
The orc lady cried out.
"Just a measure so you wouldn't think of harming my beautiful husband~"
Erika's playful voice ringed.
"A measure!? That's a fucking slave mark!"
She said as she put her hand up in the air.
There was a strange tattoo near the wrist, as if it was a simple wristband or somehting.
"So? You belong to my sweetie, it's up to him to decide whether or not you're a slave~"
Erika said and looked at Norn:
"Right, husband?"
Norn's face was all smiles, but inside he was... shocked a little.
That beautiful wife of his became even more insane...
"Yeah, wifey, thank you~ I like your gift a lot!"
He, however, didn't even bother to think twice about it.
So what if she enslaved some random orc lady?
Yeah, it was kinda bad, but so what? She was strong enough to back up whatever bullshit she wanted to do.
He could bet that enslaving the whole kingdom for her wasn't a problem at all.
It was, of course, an overexaggeration, but still.
