Neither of them had expected a hostile reception when they made it back to Earth so it was quite understandable that they were confused when they woke up to find themselves in a room similar to what they had seen the police use as interrogation rooms.
On the one side of the room was a large mirror-like surface that left no doubt of its true purpose while the other side was occupied by two sterile beds that they had woken up on. A small table stood in between the two beds with a small stack of papers on top of it and Kurai didn't pay it any further attention after reading the title.
Aglance to the side revealed that there was a door, but it seemed to blend in quite well with the walls of the room, which was why Kurai hadn't noticed it before.
Kurai glanced at Satoru and found that he also seemed to be examining the room, the the man gave him a subtle signal to check his inventory space.
