Kurai tried very hard to put Murkenspire out of his mind, but it wasn't that easy and he could see that the rest of his companions were also troubled by it.
Liam stepped up next to him, "So your friend, Lin, how did that happen?"
Kurai grinned despite his troubled thoughts, "We've been friends since kindergarten and where one usually went the other would follow even if they needed to sneak out in the middle of the night. We've been friends all this time."
Liam nodded in understanding before pausing as if in hesitation before he spoke, "She seemed like she wanted to be way more than your friend though."
Kurai's eyes widened and he stopped walking for a moment before he managed to resume his stride, "I-I don't know what you are talking about. From what I've seen, she has a really big crush on this one guy at the university we go to."
Liam nodded, "Okay, did she give a name or a description or point him out to you?"
