Even though something inside him itched to go explore the new area, Kurai decided to follow Abyss' advice and check out the Tachi Clan compound the moment they returned to the city.
Everyone else seemed to think that it was a private matter so they let him be and when he asked Zane to accompany him, the man sadly shook his head, "No one can enter the compound except for the heir after it was locked down, and given that I was removed from the family, I wouldn't be able to enter even if you did want me to."
Kurai didn't really understand that, but he nodded and continued on alone to just outside the city until he reached the area that it was supposed to be in.
He found nothing at first, only an empty cliff with strange markings on the ground, much to his confusion, but then he decided to follow the markings and they led to a shallow cave mostly tucked away near the edge of the mountain.
