Luka was was both impressed and depressed by the world around her. Having grown up as a snow pirate she had never seen a world without snow and ice everywhere. The world was alive with with people wearing regular fabric clothing instead body temperature regulation suits. The air didn't feel like a knife to the lungs from the sheer cold. People didn't fear walking in the shade and infact lounged in it to relax and most perplexing to her was people willingly placing ice in their drinks.
What disappointed her was how everyone took the world for granted. How people some were actively destroying the world's resources when she had to learn to make do with the little available to her family as a snow pirate. The worse part was how humanity here were abundantly aware that they were reaching the tipping point yet were slow to act. Doing the bare minimum to avert disaster content to watch the planet slowly die.
.... yeah... super deep really insightful and matters very little to me. I don't care if humanity decided to drive itself into extinction so long as I got a return on my investment first! I have the Sci-fi system and a spaceship if things go sideways and the Earth is doomed I'll just pack up and move to another world. I would probably take some trim for the road but if there was no time I wouldn't hesitate to leave everyone behind to save myself.
"Look I get it you finally get to the home Terra of humanity and compared with what you hoped it would be this place is a shit hole. You were sold a dream and reality fell far short. That is just another reason why we need to succeed. If we want our ideal world than we need to make it!"
Luka: I see what you mean... we need to force humanity onto the right path!
"That's why we're here to show them how wrong they are! They can either be part of something greater or die!"
Luka: YES! They are just animals content to wallow in their own filth never knowing adversity so they take their lives for granted!
"They need to be forced to see greater heights so they lose their contentment and desire more than squalor they have surrounded themselves with. So Luka now that you understand will you help me?"
Luka: Yes, we need to wake these people up
Luka now properly motivated began to work in earnest with Thoris to improve the terraforming technology. Looks like I was able to put my old cult leader skills to use. I could have just ordered her to do so but then she would be acting to the letter of the command not honoring the spirit in which it was given. With her properly motivated she would do her utmost to not only achieve the goal but surpass it. Thoris didn't need the motivation she was already deeply invested in the project.

Undisclosed location Light HQ
Lex Luthor had just given a brief summary of what he knew about Julian Black and put forth a proposal for him to be considered for recruiting.
Vandal Savage: If even a third of what Julian said is true then it would be in the Light's best interest to recruit him
Ra's al Ghul: I agree he may be just what we've been looking for but he has been working with Shield so we should exercise caution. Feel him out first see if he is who we are looking for
Queen Bee (Bialya): If it's recruitment I'm pretty sure I could handle it
Lex: I rather you not inpare his abilities
Queen Bee (H.I.V.E): This will require a more steady hand with a better public image than yours
Klarion: I don't care either way about him I'll let you decide among yourselves
The debate continued but the Light weren't the only ones taking a deep interest in Julian. Around the world similar conversations were being carried out by various groups. Most lacked the crucial information about his upcoming project but what he has demonstrated so far was more than sufficient to stoke desires of these secret cabals.
