A young man with raven dark hair watched all that happened from a corner of the hallway. As Layna left he followed amusement dancing in his eyes.
Layna scurried off to Yellow stone garden in the school. She dumped her bag at a nearby bench and took out her mirror. She gasped in horror at the sight of her gold irises,
"Oh my God! Oh my God! What is this? oh Lord....oh no .. what's happening to me? am I turning to a witch?"
"You're a werewolf" said the guy that followed her
She turned around and looked at him; tall, well built, dark haired, and very handsome. But she was in no mood to admire his face as his words just registered in her head.
"what? a what? such things don't exist"
He cocked his brow, "oh really? Then what are you exactly?"
"I'm a human.... I am human... I can't be werewolf my parents are humans ... I can't believe I'm saying this I mean what other creatures could possibly roam this earth except humans?" she asked exasperatedly
"you and I" he replied
"you're a werewolf too?"
"naaa.... I'm a vampire"
"oh that's good .. you're a vam..." her eyes widened in horror and she let out an earpiercing shriek
Liam stared at her in amusement. He patted her hair, "alright stop yelling already"
Layna stepped back in fear
"get away from you ... blood sucker"
Liam laughed and said, "I haven't even tasted blood ... but you sure smell nice" He licked his lip and leaned closer to her, his hands in his pockets.
She tripped and fell backwards while Liam immediately pulled her towards him. The force of the pull made her crash into him, her lips on his. It was like the world stood still as she could feel her heart pounding so much it could burst out of her chest. Liam pulled away first and stepped back awkwardly. May arrived a few moments ago and saw them 'kissing'.
"there you are Layna.... I've been looking all over for you and you're here making out with this douchebag" May complained
Liam looked at May then turned to Layna
"you have bad friends.... don't follow her ways" he said and turned to leave
May erupted in fury, "you little...."
"hey .. hold on" Layna called out to him "you're the only one that knows what I am.... can I have your number so I can call you?"
"sure"
