After that confession, we decided to take a rest. Maxen needs a lot of rest since she told Doc Korg the whole story.
"That was astounding," Primo said while laying his back on the car.
"Do you have a plan to go inside?" I asked sarcastically while looking from the window of the car. He's been there a while ago, thinking and saying nonsense due to his shock.
"I have," he mocked me as he went inside and started the engine.
Maxen fell asleep while her head's laying in Jin's legs.
"What's the plan now?" Primo asked.
"She doesn't want to get better, how are we even gonna help her?" I asked too.
Jin shushed us because Primo and I are talking loudly.
"When's the trial?" I asked them.
"Tomorrow," Jin answered.
"Already?!" I asked in disbelief.
"Yeah? Why?" she asked. I just shrugged and looked at the road while thinking deeply.
Should we continue the case? I was worried about Primo, how is he gonna defend Maxen if Maxen doesn't want to get rid of that girl who's been ordering her to do that things.
We went back to the headquarters and parted our ways to take a deep rest. I planned to go home to make sure that I can take a peaceful rest.
As I rode my car, I went to the nearest coffee shop to eat my dinner. I wasn't even planning to eat her, but since I don't know how to cook.
"One Muscovado Latte and Italian style pasta." I said to the cashier and sat between the counter to wait for my order. While eating, I read a lot of spreading news in social media. I was shocked when I saw Maxen's recent case.
As I scroll through the website. My brows are furrowed while reading it.

The former governor, Mr. Maverick Sanchez is murdered with her wife Mrs. Beatrice Sanchez by their daughter Maxen Sanchez. Based on their neighbors who's been there during the crime, they said that Maxen is possessed by a demon who pushed to kill her parents. "It's all fake," I shook my head while sipping at my latte. Member of demonic cult? Are they crazy? She's an eleven years old girl for pete's sake.

I finished my food and drove all the way home. I don't want to stress myself anymore. I'll just prepare for the trial.
I lay on my bed immediately after I drop my bag on the floor. I sighed deeply as I was thinking what could possibly happen tomorrow?
How I really wish that we'll win this battle. This isn't the first time that I'll be attending a trial but I'm still nervous.
I mean looking at Maxen's point of view, it would be so hard for her if she'll plead guilty. Many people would accuse her or maybe curse her. That would be traumatizing for her life. She still have her younger brother who we haven't seen or talked after that Hizola's arrival.
I took my phone out off my bag and went to messages.

Any news from Mauve?
I waited for her reply and I was shock because after several seconds she replied already.

Mhm yeah, he's doin' great. He's attending his classes already.
Good for him but I am really worried about Mauve's situation. He can't talk yet he's attending classes. We haven't got him checked up but I really do wish that I have my spare time and consent from his guardian.
Maxen should be attending classes now, but poor her because she needs to face the world. She's been dealing a lot of things lately. She deserves a rest after the trial. Maybe, I'd rather take care of her than giving her to the social welfare.
But if I had a chance to took the responsibility of taking care of Maxen. How am I suppose to multi-task?
I am busy at work and I can't even take care of myself.
She can't stay at the headquarters it's chaotic. I don't where can she be. It's hard to think that everything might be so hard for her after this.
I let out a heavy sigh before fixing myself and went to bed.
